The Central University of Tamil Nadu offers 62 programs, spread over 27 departments, and is home to over 2000 students. They have various undergraduate, integrated, postgraduate and research programs, and admissions are dependent on the results of the CUET.
- BPA applicants should have an aggregate of 50% in the qualifying exam from a recognized board.
- B.Sc. applicants should have an aggregate of 60% in 10+2, in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology.
- Integrated M.Sc. applicants must have an aggregate of 60% in 12th.
- Integrated MBA applicants must have an aggregate of 60% in 12th with Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics as one subject.
- Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. applicants must have 60% in 12th with Mathematics/ Physics, Chemistry and Statistics as subjects.
- MBA, MSW, MA, M Com, M Sc. candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 55%.
- M Lib. I. Sc. should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks.
- LLM candidates should have an LLB degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
- M Tech candidates should have passed bachelor’s/ M Sc. exam in the relevant area with at least 60%.
- PGD candidates should have at least 55% in the bachelor’s exam in Chemistry.
- Research (PhD/ M.Phil) candidates should qualify a master’s exam with at least 55% marks.
- The admission is based on the entrance exam CUET for UG and PG programs.
- The admission to Ph.D program is based on UGC-JRF/ UGC-CSIR-JRF/ UGC NET
The Central University of Tamil Nadu was established in 2009 and is ranked #101 for Overall by NIRF 2021. It has a B++ Accreditation by NAAC and UGC approval. The university is spread over 516 acres and comprises 12 schools offering various courses.
