Anna University Madurai B.E Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate for admission to the four-year B.E programme must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as required subjects.

Anna University Madurai B.E Selection Criteria

• Seats are allotted on the basis of the TNEA counseling.
• TNEA used to conduct an entrance exam for the selection of candidates but now there is no exam and the selection is done by online counselling
• The online counselling procedure will start in the 1st week of July 2020.
• Candidates were required to pay the initial deposit of INR 5000 (general category) and INR 1000 (SC/ST/SCA category) as the counselling fee.

How to apply for the Anna University B.E Programme?

Since the admissions are done through Tamil Nadu Engineering Entrance admissions, the whole admission process is conducted by TNEA.

• Click on the “Online Registration” link.
• Register online with all the required information
• after successful registration and payment of fee, candidates can log in easily with their username and password
• After the registration candidates have to fill their choices for the courses and the universities
• During the online counselling the university releases a merit list for the admissions into various universities
