Course Description

UNIRAJ M.Com admission 2023 is ongoing. URAT PG 2023 result will be released on July 21. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination can check and download their results through the official website – uratpguor.org. URAT PG 2023 phase 2 applications will start on July 24 and the last date for submission of application form will be July 28, 2023.

UNIRAJ M.Com Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for M.Com admission at UNIRAJ, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Must have completed B.Com. from any recognized institution
Must have minimum qualification marks of 55% in the specialization subject
Must have a minimum of 50% marks as aggregate in B.Com. degree
Seats reservation applicable for SC or ST category applicants
5% relaxation on qualifying marks is applicable for SC/ ST candidates
Preference will give to Candidates with specialization in the desired course
Merit list will be prepared based on 30% weightage on qualifying examination and 70% on Entrance marks

Rajasthan University admission into M.Com. course is done based on URATPG entrance. The following step needs to be followed towards the application process for M.Com. course at Rajasthan University:

Register right after the admission procedure dates get announced in the official site
Applicants need to fill up application form will all valid information
Applicants need to select M.Com. specialization subjects for the PG entrance Test after opting for M.Com.
Applicants are allowed to select three subjects for PG entrances in one application form
Application fee need to be paid through the online application process, either by NEFT, Debit card, Credit card, or UPI (as per the options available in ICICI payment gateway)

The pattern of URATPG examination for M.Com. admission is provided below:

The entrance test is conducted in MCQ patter which consists of 100 questions and 1 mark gets allocated for each correct answer
The 100 marks questions are based on the subject(s) applied by the applicant.
Applicant opting for 2 or more papers, needs to be well prepared for each paper carrying 100 marks each
Applicants are provided with 2 hours duration in the entrance examination for each paper

You will receive the status ‘EFFY’, in the examination result if you have a back for 1-2 marks in a subject and passed the others. You will be considered eligible for the final year, but you will need to clear that subject.

One of my friends studied at Rajasthan University. Let me share some of the things he used to do to prepare for scoring good marks.

Though the question pattern has changed, it is necessary to go through the previous year’s question papers.
It is quite impossible to read every book thoroughly, that is why learning from the previous year’s question papers will be beneficial.
For practicals start practicing from the unit of the book which you find comparatively easier and interesting.
Try and pay attention to every lecture being conducted in the classes.
For the 20 marks questions, try writing 7-8 pages, as it will fetch you better marks.
Make sure you use points instead of paragraphs.

Finally, try to remain calm in stressful situations. Confidently answer your questions. While writing, do not repeat the same things over and over, maintain a tidy answer sheet and you will be good to go.

The prerequisite for MA in Economics from University of Rajasthan is a BA degree with at least 48% of aggregate marks. Students with a bachelor's degree or equivalent with 55% aggregate from a recognized university are also eligible to apply for the course. So, you are eligible to apply for the course.
