SPSU was established in 2007 by the JK Cement group of companies and is a private, residential university located in Udaipur, Rajasthan. It has been ranked 95th in India and is also a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SPSU is dedicated to advance knowledge to students both in areas of Technology and Management with its two constituent schools, the School of Engineering and School of Management. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The courses offered for UG programs are, B.Tech.
The postgraduate programs offered are, M.Tech, MBA with various specializations.

How to Apply for SPSU?

The students can apply to the programmes offered both through online and offline mode. The entrance test can be given from home.

Online:

Go to the official website.
Click on the admission tab.
Click on Apply online and get a verification mail and verify.
Perform registration and fill in all the required details.
Fill all the information and pay INR 1,175.
Appear for SPSAT.

Offline:

Download Application form and fill it carefully.
Attach DD of INR 1,175 in favour of Sir Padampat Singhania University and dispatch it along with the form.
Take the Entrance exam (SPSAT).

SPSU Scholarships

The University offers various Scholarships based on the excellence of students. Some of them are listed below:

50% fee concession towards University employees.
25% fees concession to differently abled children, wards of freedom fighters and whose brother/sister is already studying in SPS University.
100% fee waiver for district toppers and students nominated by their principle.
Fees concession for economically challenged students and to those who will be considering going for higher studies in this University only.
Students from the North-east are offered 25% fee concession on all courses except for PhD. Apart from this, merit based scholarships are also awarded.

One of my friends studied at Sir Padampat Singhania University. According to him, it is good in terms of infrastructure and facilities. It has taken many initiatives for student’s welfare.

The infrastructure can be considered among the top 5 in Rajasthan’s private universities.
The academics are above average.
The faculties are well experienced and cooperative.
The Lab facilities are good. The Library is good, while the canteen is a bit expensive for students.
The Mess is average. There are two messes, one is for vegetarians and the other one is for non-vegetarians.
The hostel facility is good with clean and well maintained rooms.
