Singhania University offers PhD programs in 67 specializations. The program is of 3-year duration and offers in full-time mode. 

• The candidate must have a master’s degree to be eligible to take admission in a PhD program. 
• Students for the PhD program are shortlisted based on marks obtained in the university entrance exam followed by an interview.
• For the PhD program, although the university conducts its entrance test students with valid scores in JRF are preferred at the time of final selection.

Singhania University Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have a master’s degree to be eligible to take admission.
• Candidates should have a valid JRF score to be considered for the final admission process.
• The university also conducts its entrance exam followed by an interview.

Singhania University Ph.D Admission Guidelines

• Before you apply, go through the eligibility criteria and the entire PhD process at Singhania University. 
• Once you confirm your eligibility, you can apply through online mode. 
• Go to the official website, click on ‘apply link’ there. 
• Submit your details, documents asked there. 
• Print Challan from the website and keep a copy of Challan for future use as well. 
• Pay the registration fee INR 5000 in the University bank account number mentioned on the Challan.
• Once you complete payment, your entrance exam id will appear on the university website, and you should keep visiting the website not to miss the entrance exam. 
• After clearing the entrance exam, you need to deposit the first year and course fee in the bank account of the university.

Singhania University Ph.D Course Details

With the PhD program, a pre-PhD course has a duration of one year (two semesters). The Singhania university Pre PhD course includes four papers.

What is Pre-Ph.D course work?

Pre-PhD is a part of a Ph.D program for those who want to enroll for a PhD program. You can consider it an eligibility test. The researchers need to pass four papers with a minimum of 50% marks to get admission for the PhD degree. Its duration is six months at Singhania university, but it may differ from university to university. 

• The aspiring candidates get thesis work to be submitted before the deadlines fixed by the university. In case any candidate fails to submit his/her application for a PhD degree, declines from the PhD program. 
• The university invites and admits a limited number of candidates for a PhD or MPhil. Through a written exam or Viva-voce or both. 

Research work 

The candidate should write a research proposal to the university within six months through his/her supervisor format. If the research finds your six months course work positive, you shall pursue the research work under the guidance of a supervisor. 

• The university submits the thesis in the last seven days of every month. 
• Singhania University does not allow the thesis in spiral binding. There is a prescribed format to follow before writing the thesis work. 
• The scholars need to submit other related documents and no dues.
