Eligibility Criteria

1. A candidate seeking admission to a higher research degree must have pursued outstanding research in the concerned discipline and obtained the minimum qualifications required for admission as mentioned below:
(i) Must have obtained a Ph. D. or an equivalent degree from this University or any other recognized University, in the concerned discipline, at least 3
(three) years prior to the date of application.
(ii) Must have made a significant contribution to research in the concerned discipline as evidenced by research publications in refereed journals.
2. A candidate seeking admission to a higher research degree shall apply to the
Registrar by submitting the following:
(i) His/her bio-data giving details of educational qualifications, field(s) of specialization, research experience, academic distinctions, etc.
(ii) Details of the proposed research work including the title of the proposed
thesis (4 copies).
(iii) A brief account of his/ her recent research work, in about 1000 words on the subject relevant to the discipline in which he/ she has applied for admission
to LL. D./D. Sc./ D. Litt. the program, showing how far his/ her work is original and is contributory to the advancement of knowledge.
(iv) List of publications, indicating the refereed/non-refereed nature of the journal. (Reprints/off-prints of some important publications should be
attached.)
(v) Attested copies of certificates in support of the qualifications and experience.
(vi) Migration certificate in original or enrollment number of this University.

National Law University is one of the most reputed law schools in the country. NLU Jodhpur ranking in Law is 8 by NIRF 2021. To get admission you will need to secure good marks in CLAT. The infrastructure and facilities offered are pretty good.

The campus committees organize various activities for the students to participate in. For the 2019-20 academic year students of NLU Jodhpur received a total of 54 job offers.

Between NLIU Bhopal and NLUJ, which is a better place to study BA LLB?

Between NLIU Bhopal and NLUJ, the latter is slightly better in terms of certain parameters.

NLIU Bhopal has a better reputation. It was established only 2 years before NLUJ, but it has a better alumni base. It also enjoys a locational advantage, as it is located in the same city as National Judicial Academy.
NLU Jodhpur has more rigorous academics and a better faculty pool.
As per the recent NLU J placement statistics, it offers better salary packages to the students. It is also better in terms of Moot performance. In the past, students from NLUJ have won a few national moots.

If you want to pursue Judicial Services, Civil Services, Litigation, or LLM later on then NLU J is the better choice.

NLU Jodhpur is better than NLU Bhopal in all aspects.

Compared to NLU Bhopal, NLU Jodhpur placement are better. Most students who choose campus placement, get job opportunities. According to the 2020 placement report, 60 students received recruitment.
Mooting is one of the major factors that you should consider for choosing a law school. In mooting, no law school beats NLU J. It has a great mooting culture. NLU J students won a few National moots as well.
The seniors at NLU J are great. They will go the extra mile to help you with your academics, moots, extracurricular activities.
The academic schedule is rigorous. At NLU J you will have 4 tests for each subject, along with projects/mid-term and end-term examinations. There are also Court Room Exercises. You will hardly get any time off during the entire semester.
NLU J has a great reputation among the legal fraternity. There are people working in firms in New York, in Geneva as well as in reputed firms in India.

Yes, NLU Jodhpur offers a 25% reservation of seats for the Rajasthan Domicile students. Both UG and PG courses will have reserved seats. The required amendments to the 25% quota in NLU, Jodhpur needs to be done through the university. From this academic session onwards, the institute will provide domicile reservations to the Rajasthan students.

NLU Jodhpur offers two UG degrees, i.e BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons). The total student intake for the undergraduate programs is 115. Out of the total seats, 15 seats are reserved for Foreign national students.

In postgraduate, NLU Jodhpur offers LLM and MBA. The LLM program has a student intake of 80. The MBA program has two specializations, i.e. Insurance and Insurance Risk Management. The student intake for these specializations is 20 and 15 respectively.
