JNVU is now accepting applications for MPET exam. Registration window is open for November 23 – December 22. Registration can be done online through official website (https://admissions.jnvuiums.in/). Entrance test is going to be conducted on January 22, 2023. 

JNVU offers a full-time  Ph.D. program in the faculty of Arts, Education, Social Sciences, Science, Commerce & Management Studies, Engineering and Law respectively. JNVU offers Ph.D. in 39 different specializations.

• Admission to Ph.D. is done on the basis of MPET (M.Phil & Ph.D. Entrance Test) conducted by JNVU.
• For Admission to the doctorate courses, candidate with Post-Graduation degree in first or second division in relevant subject are eligible to apply for entrance test.
• Application form can be submitted by post or personally.
• Application fees of application form is INR 3200.
• The university invites application form once in every academic year.
• Minimum relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates is provided.
• The reservation criteria as per the norms of university will be applicable.
• The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Master’s degree on the basis of which candidate seeks admission.
• The qualified candidates need to appear for interview along with all the documents before the Departmental Council (DC) for approval of research supervisor.

The Selection in Ph.D. / M.Phil. courses is done on the basis of MPET (M.Phil & Ph.D. Entrance Test) conducted by the University. The entrance exam consists of 100 MCQs and candidates need to obtain minimum of 50% marks to qualify for the examination.
