Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) is a public university located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Established in 1994, BAOU is approved by the UGC and is a member of COL, ICDE, AAOU, NCTE, and others. The university is also accredited with an A++ grade by the NAAC. 

BAOU offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, and doctoral programs courses through distance learning mode to more than 100 thousand students. BAOU Admissions 2023

BAOU offers admission to various programs at UG, PG and doctorate level. Admission to all programs is merit-based except B.Ed. For UG programs, candidates must have completed 10+2 from any recognized board to be eligible for admissions. While for PG programs, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream from any recognized university/institute. For admissions to B.Ed courses, the university conducts an entrance test. Admissions are done online mode on the official website of the university.

BAOU Placements
