Ques

How hard is it to get admission in CURAJ for an integrated MSc BEd in mathematics via CUCET exam?

● Top Answer By Indrani Bhattacharjee on 28 Dec 21

Ans
It’s not that difficult to get admission in CURAJ for an integrated M.Sc-B.Ed course in Mathematics. However, demand for this course has increased over the past few years. For this degree, you will also need to compete with CURAJinas (integrated M.Sc 5 years). To score well in the entrance, you need to have your basics clear. Once you cover your basics, you can start practicing the previous year’s questions. Give mock tests and practice as many problems as you can.

How was your experience at Central University of Rajasthan on the whole?

● Top Answer By Sakshi Roy on 21 Oct 21

Ans
I have a friend who graduated from Central University of Rajasthan. His experience at the institute has been good.  Classes are regular at the institute. The professors are well-experienced. The university follows a semester system. The campus is a great place to hang out with your friends. My friend used to hang out at a place called thadi. Food is available till 10 at night. You can also visit nearby dhabas or restaurants. Girls are allowed to be out till 10. There are two stadiums where you can watch kids play.  Some days there can be problems regarding food and water. But overall it’s manageable. There is one non-veg counter, one canteen, one chai shop, one corporate store, and two dairy parlors on campus.  Winters are cold and summers are too hot. Students usually stay on campus except for vacations.  Overall, you will have a good experience on campus.

Are there placements at the Central University of Rajasthan?

● Top Answer By Deepika Roy on 21 Oct 21

Ans
Yes, Central University of Rajasthan offers placements but only for departments like MBA and BDA (Big Data Analysis). According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 7 LPA. Also, it depends on the HOD, whether they will organize placement events or not. Other than the placement, CURAJ is a decent option for pursuing a degree.

How is the integrated M.Sc+B.Ed mathematics course in CURAJ?

● Top Answer By Bidita Gupta on 28 Dec 21

Ans
The Integrated M.Sc+B.Ed degree offered by CURAJ is a unique degree. You should consider doing this course if you are interested in teaching. It is a three-year-long course. After completion of the course, you will get an M.Sc+B.Ed degree. Doing this course instead of a traditional M.Sc and B.Ed is better since with this course you will be able to save a year.  The Mathematics department of CURAJ has a great faculty base. The professors are alumni of reputed universities of India and the world.

Ques

Is it better to do a BSc in CS from DU or from CURAJ?

● Top Answer By Deepika Shinde on 28 Dec 21

Ans
You should go for a B.Tech in CS, rather than a BSc degree. Most jobs usually ask for a 4-year long B.Tech degree or a B.Sc+M.Sc (5 years) in CS. So, you may face problems while applying for jobs. As for the colleges, DU will be a better option compared to CURAJ. In 2021, NIRF has ranked Delhi University 11th in India.

How are the hostels at Central University of Rajasthan?

● Top Answer By Supriya Sarin, on 29 Oct 21

Ans
One of my friends studied at Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ). As he has availed the hostel facilities, let me share the details which might give you a clear idea. The hostel is in good condition with rooms available on a sharing basis.  Each student will get a bed, a chair, an almirah, a chair, and a mattress.  There is a good source of light in every room by a window, a tube light, and a night lamp.  Proper stable internet connectivity is given to all.  There is a common washroom in every hostel. The cleaners maintain the cleanliness of the hostel.  There is a reading room in every hostel.  Every hostel has a register where you can lodge your complaint. Along with all these good facilities, there are some things that might come as disappointing, these include, the shortage of water, no common room in the hostels and the mess is combined for two hostels. Despite these drawbacks, he mentions that the hostels are appropriate for a student's needs.

How are the hostels at CURAJ? What are some tips for freshers?

● Top Answer By Sunidhi Mishra on 27 Dec 21

Ans
Some of my friends attended CURAJ. According to them, the hostel facilities are quite good. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. Food offered at mass is decent. The quality of food depends on the contractors and hostel wardens. The hostel timing is from 6 am-10 pm. However, the library stays open till 12 am. You can study there. Security of the hostel is pretty strict. All the hostels have good wifi facilities.  If you are a fresher, it’s best if you keep good relations with the teaching and non-teaching staff. You can take part in sports and cultural events on campus. If you have time to spare, you can visit nearby places like Ajmer, Jaipur, etc.
