To apply for CLAT as required for the UG and PG programs, the steps mentioned below should be followed:
- Log on to the official website of CLAT 2020 and register using personal mobile number and email id.
- Log in with the details sent on the mobile number. Fill in the form carefully. Also, fill in preferences for NLUs.
- Upload the required documents.
- Pay the application fee of INR 4000.
Documents Required
- Front-facing passport size recent photograph with a plain background
- Signature of the candidate
- Category certificate if you are applying under SC/ST/OBC
- Relevant certificate issued by a competent authority if you are applying if the candidate is P.W.D
- Relevant certificate issued by a competent authority if you are coming under BPL category
All documents should be submitted in PDF format only.

An applicant seeking admission to the Ph.D. Degree Programme must have:
- A Degree of Master of Laws (LL.M.) from any recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks; or
- M.Phil. Degree in Law with B+ grade or its equivalent.
