Central University of Odisha (CUO) Admission 2023 Quick Updates

Central University of Odisha Admission 2024 for UG and PG programs will be done through the CUET examination. CUET PG 2024 registrations are open now and the last date to apply is January 24, 2024. Interested candidates can register online on the official website @pgcuet.samarth.ac.in. CUET PG 2024 exam will be held from March 11 to March 28, 2024. Also, CUET UG 2024 registrations will begin soon. CUET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from May 15 to May 31, 2024.

The Central University of Odisha was established by the Government of India. It is a NAAC Accredited University.

Central University of Odisha has 7 schools, 14 Departments and offers multiple courses. At UG level, the University offers BCA and B.Ed programmes. At PG level, the University offers MA, M.Sc, Integrated M.Sc and MBA programmes. The University also offers M.Phil and PHD programmes at Doctorate level with 8 different specialisations. For all the courses, admissions are offered on the basis of CUET- Common University Entrance Test. The registration for CUET begins in the month of March and the exam is conducted in the month of May or June every year.

For BCA, students should have completed 10+2 with mathematics as one subject from a recognised board.
For B.Ed, candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University.
For MA, applicants must have completed their graduation in a relevant subject from a recognised University.
For M.Sc, candidates must have completed their graduation degree in a relevant subject from a recognised University.
For MBA, Candidates should have minimum 60% marks in graduation from a recognised University.
For M.Phil/PHD, candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks in post graduation from a recognised University.
For admission to any of the above courses, candidates need to appear for CUET conducted jointly by NTA.

Central University of Odisha UG Admissions 2023

The university offers admission to the B.Ed and BCA courses. For B.Ed, students should have graduated in any stream. Whereas, for admission to BCA course, students should be 10+2 qualified.

For B.Ed

Candidates must have a minimum 50% marks in Graduation degree if pursued in Arts or Science subjects.
Candidates with at least 50% marks in Masters degree in Arts or Science subjects are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Mathematics or Science are also eligible to apply provided they have a minimum of 55% marks.
A relaxation of 5% marks is given to SC/ST/PWD category candidates.

For BCA

Candidates must have completed their HSC (10+2) from a recognised board with at least 50 % marks overall and mathematics as a subject.
Candidates should be below the age of 21 years on 1/July/2023.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks scored in CUET Entrance Examination.
