How can I get a degree certificate from Pune University if not collected at convocation?

● Top Answer By Aditya Shinde on 15 Mar 23

Ans
If you haven't collected your degree certificate from Pune University during convocation, the university will send it to your respective college. However, if you haven't received it yet, you must take the initiative to inquire with the convocation department to obtain your certificate. When applying for a degree certificate during convocation, the best option is to apply for it by post. This way, the university will courier the certificate to the address specified in your application. This ensures that you receive the certificate without any hassle and saves you the trouble of going to the university to collect it in person.

What is your review of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)?

● Top Answer By Saikat Das, on 22 Oct 21

Ans
One of my friends recently graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). According to her, it is better to do anything rather than joining this institute. She mentioned some of the reasons that made her feel this way. The institute only focuses on making money and not actual education. The syllabus and curriculum followed by the institute are outdated. Practical training is not properly given, making students lag behind the industry demands. Basic things like a proper academic calendar are not provided. Re-evaluation is time-consuming and usually not done properly. A 60% from SPPU is not considered good enough for admission to other colleges. They do not consider it as first class. They are known to have the worst and uncooperative staff members. They are not at all helpful or considerate about any problem. It is suggested that you do not opt for SPPU as they are highly unprofessional. They do not have a proper way to conduct classes, assemblies, extracurricular activities and get involved in everything half-heartedly. SPPU is a good example of how a university should be not.

Ques

I have 74 in B.E. Pune University. How do I convert it into a CGPA?

● Top Answer By Arun Pal, on 22 Oct 21

Ans
Let me give you a simple formula to convert Percentage into GPA. Convert Percentage to GPA: Calculating GPA from percentage is very simple. The US GPA is a 4 point scale. The Indian percentage is 100% which is nothing but 100 points. 25 points in percentage is equivalent to 1 point in the GPA System. Percentage to GPA formula: Divide your percentage by 100 and multiply by 4. If your percentage is 74, then (74/100)*4 = 2.96 % Marks Class 66 and above First Class with Distinction 60-66 First Class 55-60 Higher Second Class 50-55 Second Class 40-50 Pass Class. Calculate CGPA for Pune University: Percentage GPA 85-100 4 80-84 3.7 75-79 3.3 70-74 3 65-69 2.7 60-64 2.3 55-59 2 50-54 1.7 45-49 1.3 40-41 1 0-39 0 Follow these steps and you will get to know your CGPA.

Ques

Which is better Pune University or Mumbai University?

● Top Answer By Advaith Bhaskar on 30 Mar 23

Ans
Both Pune University and Mumbai University are well-esteemed institutions in India imparting superior quality education. However, the one that is suitable for you depends on your individual needs and preferences. Some factors that are usually considered are location, campus culture, and research opportunities. It's advisable to research both universities and visit them in person if possible to make a wise decision.  In my opinion, however, Pune University has a much higher preference rate than Mumbai university. This is because of the following factors: Pune University has a better and well-structured curriculum in comparison to Mumbai University, especially in Engineering. The academic rules are more strict at Pune University and the number of backlogs allowed is also less than at Mumbai University thus maintaining the quality of Education. The exams are conducted consequently and little time is given for preparation. This makes it more challenging for the students and prepares them well for the future. If you genuinely want to understand concepts and create amazing memories along with a lot of struggles, Pune University is for you. If you are looking for a laid-back campus life and a calm learning environment, then Mumbai University is best for you.
