Let me give you a simple formula to convert Percentage into GPA.
Convert Percentage to GPA:
- Calculating GPA from percentage is very simple.
- The US GPA is a 4 point scale.
- The Indian percentage is 100% which is nothing but 100 points.
- 25 points in percentage is equivalent to 1 point in the GPA System.
Percentage to GPA formula:
- Divide your percentage by 100 and multiply by 4.
- If your percentage is 74, then (74/100)*4 = 2.96
% Marks Class
- 66 and above First Class with Distinction
- 60-66 First Class
- 55-60 Higher Second Class
- 50-55 Second Class
- 40-50 Pass Class.
