Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) was notified as a deemed to be university on June 3, 2005. The institute was set up in Mumbai under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). Every year, the institute invites applications for its PG Diploma, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.D, M.Phil and Ph.D. courses. It also offers Super Specialty courses (M.Ch and DM). It has 11 constituent colleges all over India.
- Applications for admissions have to be submitted offline for which the forms are available at the website.
- Institute has set basic eligibility criteria for all the courses. For Diploma and PG courses, graduation is required in the concerned disciplines. Post graduate degree holders can apply for Research Courses.
- Admission to all the courses is based on the entrance test.
