The University of Agriculture Sciences offers B.Sc and B.Tech programs under the spectrum of UG courses in 12 disciplines. Candidates who have passed 10+2/HSC examination from any recognized education board of India can apply.

The application forms are available on the official website of UAS Raichur. Candidates may choose apply online or can even apply through offline mode of application.

The admission to both the courses is on merit basis. Although the candidate will be required to appear for a practical exam which will constitute the 50% Weightage in the preparation of merit list, other 50% being the marks scored in the qualifying examination.

Selection Procedure:

• The selection to the course is based on the merit list issued by the university.
• The candidates need to appear for the Practical conducted by the University of 200 Marks.
• The merit list will be issued 50% marks in 10+2 and 50% of the marks scored in practical.
•  The candidates who will not appear for the practical will be considered ineligible.
• The merit list will be published on the official website of the university.

Application Procedure:

• The candidates who wish to apply for the admission to the course have to fill a common application form for all the courses, available at the official web portal of the university.
• The application fee for the General category students is Rs.500/- and for SC/ST candidates is Rs.250/-.  

UAS provides 12 PG courses under the Agriculture and the Agriculture Science Departments. The details for the eligibility and selection procedure are given below.

Selection Procedure:

• The selection to all PG courses is based on the entrance course to be conducted by the university on June 02 of the admission year.
• List of the selected candidates will be uploaded on the official website of the university.

Application Procedure:

• Candidates need to fill the application form to be downloaded from the official website of the university.
• The application fee for General candidates is Rs 600/- and Rs 300/- for SC/ST candidates. The payment has to made through Demand Draft.
• 25% seats are reserved for outside students.

Every year, the University admits bright and young scholars for the research in the field of Agriculture Science for which the admission is based on the Entrance Exam conducted by the University.

Selection Procedure:

• The selection to all the Ph.D courses is based upon the written test conducted by the university.
• Tentative date for the written test is 4^th July at 10:00am and the counselling session is expected to be held on 31^st July,.
• The merit list will be issued on the basis of:

50%- Academic performance

45%- Entrance test

5%- Reservation for ICAS-SRF/ CSIR/ USC/ DST/ DBT fellowship.
