Sri Devaraj Urs University (SDUU), Karnataka offers various medical courses at UG, PG & doctoral levels. The college offers MBBS, B.Sc, BPT, BEMT, BASLP, Integrated B.Sc & M.Sc., M.Sc., MPH, MS, MD, Ph.D & a Fellowship program.
Admission is entrance based for medicine related courses. While admission is merit based for Allied Health Sciences courses except for Ph.D. which is in both cases an entrance based course. Details of admission to SDUU have been elaborated below:
- MBBS admissions are based on scores in NEET UG along with scores in 10+2 with PCB.
- For M.D and M.S admissions students are selected on the basis of NEET PG scores along with scores in MBBS with a year of internship.
- Ph.D admissions are based on entrance conducted by SDUU. Only those who do not have scores in UGC-NET or JRF or SET.
- For programs like B.Sc, BPT, BASPL, M.Sc, MPH admissions are merit based, that is scores obtained in the previous qualifying exam.
SDUU was established in 1986 by Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust with a focus on provisioning of medical education and social services.
