Kannada University Admissions
Admissions to the UG courses are based on merit in the qualifying examination. Admissions to the Ph.D courses and the Integrated courses are on the basis of an entrance examination conducted by the university. Candidates will be selected on the basis of rank in the entrance test.
A merit list will be published in both cases. Selected candidates will be called for a personal interview. After that, admission will be given to the candidates.

- Hostel: The university provides accommodation facilities to the students. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-equipped with all the necessities for the convenience of the students. There are separate hostels for both men and women located on either side of the university. The Girls hostel can allow only 200 students whereas the boys' hostel can allow 500 students.
- Gym Centre: The university also provides Gym facilities. There are two separate gymkhana rooms for boys and girls.
- Banking and Postal Services: The university campus has an ATM and facilities for postal services. The students find it convenient to have all-time access to these facilities.
- Sports: The university has facilities for sports like Cricket, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Carrom and Chess. The students also get an opportunity to represent the university in many inter-college as well as higher-level sports competitions.
- Library: The university library is quite huge and has plenty of books and references available for the convenience of the students. The collection includes 2,17,320 books, 1,433 rare books, 169 E-books, 2,371 bound volumes, 6 Kannada journals and 22 English journals.
