Central University of Jharkhand Scholarships

The University provides Scholarships/ Fellowships/ Welfare schemes of State and Central governments for Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Other Backward Class, Girls and Weaker section students.

E – Kalyan (Jharkhand Govt.)

Who can Apply?

• The student must be of Jharkhand State.
• The applicant must be either Schedule Tribe (ST) or Schedule Caste (SC) or Backward Class (BC).
• Students Annual Family Income should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh (ST/ SC) and INR 1 Lakh (OBC).

Post Matric Scholarship for students belonging to the minority community (Central Government)

Eligibility Criteria –

The scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent in the previous final examination and the annual income of Parents/ Guardian does not exceed INR 2.00 Lakh.

National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST students

Eligibility Criteria –

• Scheduled Tribe, Certificate issued by the competent authority.
• Certificate to the effect that the total family income from all sources shall not exceed INR 6 Lakh per annum.

Scholarship Scheme II ? For 2500 Differently Abled Students

Eligibility Criteria –

• Every year 2500 scholarships will be provided to the differently-abled students throughout the country. 30% scholarships will be reserved for girls, which will be transferable to male students in case of non-availability of female candidates.
• The annual income of the beneficiary/ parent or guardian should not exceed INR 3 Lakh.
