Kashmir University is inviting applications for admission to vacant seats for the B.Ed admission 2023-24 in private colleges. The last date to submit the application form is February 23, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website @kashmiruniversity.net. Also, the counselling-based selection list-3 for B.Ed admissions is out now. Selected candidates must submit the admission form by February 24, 2024.
Admission to B.Ed at Kashmir University is based on marks secured in the qualifying examination. Candidates who have passed graduation or PG in any discipline with 50% marks are eligible to apply. The duration of the course is 2 years, which is divided into 4 semesters. The intake capacity in Kashmir University for the B.Ed course is 100 seats. For admission to the B.Ed program of Kashmir University, candidates must satisfy the following eligibility requirements :
Admissions to the B.Ed course at Kashmir University are merit-based i.e., students are selected on the basis of the percentage obtained in their previous qualification ( UG or UG + PG).
Reservation criteria for various categories and the cutoffs are released on the same basis. The intake capacity for the B.Ed course at Kashmir University is 100, so all the seats are filled in the 1st round of counseling, if the seats are not filled completely then subsequent counseling rounds are conducted.

I have a few friends from both universities and according to their reviews, Kashmir University is definitely the best in Kashmir. Especially for the non-management courses. The quality of academics at the institute is unparalleled.
Although the business school is treated as the crown of the institute there is a lack of entrepreneurial minds and placement opportunities. This is the only reason the university lags behind for management courses. However, other streams like Engineering, Medical, Arts, Humanities, Computer Science are great.
The campus is located at the heart of Srinagar, near the famous Dal Lake. The campus is green and has urban infrastructure. Overall, the University of Kashmir can be a great option for pursuing your course.
I have a few friends from the University of Kashmir. According to their experience, it is not a good option for pursuing an integrated BBA-MBA course. After completing the degree, you will want good placement opportunities. However, the University of Kashmir does not offer any placement opportunities. You will end up searching for bank jobs.
Also, BBA-MBA programs need a lot of exposure. You will get little to no exposure at Kashmir University. So, if you are really interested in doing a BBA-MBA program, it’s best to look for better alternatives with decent placement and exposure.
