Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to Full-time M.Phil + Ph.D. Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
- Candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Economics from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent on Grading Scale of respective Universities (5% relaxation for OBC/ SC/ST/PWD candidates and for those who have qualified Master’s Degree prior to 19th September 1991).

Selection Criteria
- Admission to this course is conducted jointly on a Merit & Entrance basis.
- Applicants will be judged on the following merit distribution:
- Merit at PG Level: 50%
- Presentation on proposed research: 30%
- Personal Interview: 20%
- Candidates should have the following documents at the time of admission:
- PG Marks/Grade Card
- NET/JRF/M Phil/CUCET Score Card
- Reservation/Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)
Note: Those candidates who are UGC-NET or JRF OR SET qualified are not required to appear for CUCET.
