Course Description

MDU Rohtak MBA Admissions 2023 is open now. The last date to apply has been extended to June 20, 2023. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website – mdu.ac.in. The entrance test for MBA programs will be held on June 26, 2023.

MDU Rohtak offers a two-year MBA program in three specializations namely - MBA General, MBA in Business Economics, and MBA Hons. The admissions into the program are based on the scores in the written tests conducted by the institute. Those who qualify the same will be given an offer of admission. MDU Rohtak also offers a five-year Integrated MBA program and admissions for the same are base on the candidate’s academic performance. MDU Rohtak MBA Program Highlights

Candidates must have graduated in a 3-year or 4-year course and an entrance test is conducted for admission.
For a 5-year integrated course, candidates must have qualified 12th standard with minimum 50% marks and mode of admission is based on merit for them.
The 5-Year MBA integrated program is in Marketing, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, and International Business.
Admission is based on the university entrance exam followed by an interview.

Must have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree of three-year duration with minimum 50% marks.
For a 5- year MBA integrated program, Students must have qualified HSC with a minimum of 50% marks.

Both the Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) and the I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU) are public universities consisting of many private and public engineering colleges. If you are getting private colleges in both of the universities, then there is no point of comparison as both will be essentially the same. For a good job after your studies, you need to concentrate on the training you will receive between your studies. Also, you will have to practice programming languages very thoroughly. If you can get a percentage of 70% - 75%, then getting a job won’t be a problem in either of the universities. If you want to stay outside to become independent, then sure you can join any college which is a little farther from your home.

MDU Rohtak is an average university. Although there are not many opportunities made available to the students you can turn the tables with your caliber and skills. If you are a mediocre student with good writing skills then MDU would be the best fit for you. The students tend to write gibberish in the examination halls and yet pass their exams in the first attempt. Assuming that you are an average student, scoring good marks in your exams would not be much of a challenge. If you are pursuing the course only for procuring a degree then UIET MDU would be a good decision. Your college life here would be quite challenging as you would have to fight for the bare minimum. For lab keys, placement opportunities, better grades and such are a part of this fight. Otherwise, your passion for the course would be well catered at MDU Rohtak. Make a decision you do not regret later.

Earlier IIM Rohtak was within the campus of MDU but has been shifted to another place quite recently. The university offers tremendous courses in various fields of study at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels. Apart from offering such advanced courses in the collegiate university it also provides programs through colleges, centers and institutes throughout the region. The infrastructure of this institute is considered as one of the best in India. The library is enormous with new and updated books and 24x7 reading facilities. The faculty is decent but has the scope of improving.

The university has a comparatively low fee structure and a safe environment for girls. However, in terms of placements and faculty, MDU is still lacking behind. You should go to Kurukshetra University as it will offer great exposure along with academics.
