RK University PhD Admission Dates 2020-21 (h4)

RK University, Rajkot offers a Ph.D. program in 11 specializations, which include Pharmacy, Management, Chemistry, Microbiology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Physiotherapy among others. 

• The course duration varies from 3 years to 5 years, divided among semesters. For admission into Ph.D. courses, the applicant should have a master’s degree in respective subjects with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Selection is done on the basis of the university’s own All India Entrance Test - RAT. 
• Applicants must have qualified for any of the NET/ RET/ SLET/ SET tests. The university is ranked at 542 in the country.

RK University Ph.D. Eligibility criteria

For admission into any domain of Ph.D. from RK university, the applicant:

• Must possess a master’s degree in a relevant subject with minimum of 55% aggregate marks (5% relaxation for reserved category applicants).
• Must have qualified NET/ SLET/ GPAT/ GATE/ RKU’s RAT.

RK University Ph.D. Admission guidelines

A candidate who wishes to apply for any Ph.D. course at RK University must follow the below-given steps:

• Visit the official website of the University
• Fill in all the basic details in the form correctly by following the instructions and guidelines carefully.
• Select the course you wish to apply
• One can pay an application fee of INR 1000 either through net banking ,debit/credit card or through a Demand Draft in favour of “Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research”.
• Submit the form

For International Students

• Visit the website of the University
• Candidates can either apply online by using a debit/credit card and paying a payment of USD 50/- or INR 3000/-. Or you can apply offline too; for that fill all details carefully and take the print out of the form and courier the form by making a payment of INR 3000/- through DD.
• Fill the form by following the instructions carefully.
• Attach and upload all the required documents. 10th/12th/Bachelors/ Masters program certificate and mark sheets too.
• After that, the candidate will receive an application number on email id.

• Tuition/ accommodation/registration and examination fee should be paid only in US Dollars.
• After receiving annual tuition fees/ examination fees along with necessary documents, a letter of confirmation regarding admission will be mailed to the candidate.

Faculty of Management

The Faculty of Management provides Ph.D. degrees in Marketing, Banking & Finance.

Faculty of Science

The Faculty of Science provides Ph.D. degrees in Microbiology, Material science, Organic chemistry, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Sciences.

Faculty of Pharmacy

The Ph.D. degree is provided in pharmacology.

Faculty of Medicine

The Ph.D. degree is provided in Physiotherapy.

Faculty of Technology

The Faculty of technology provides Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied mathematics, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Computer Application.

RK University Ph.D. Fees

Application fees for All India Entrance Exam, RATS is INR 1,000.

Ph.D. degrees in any domain from RK University costs between INR 2 to 3 lacs. Yearly fees are given below in detail.

Apart from the yearly fees, the institute takes a Thesis Evaluation Fees of INR 15,000.

Note: Full-time residents/non-residents scholars would be eligible to apply for a monthly stipend of INR 12,000 and subsidized student accommodation.
