RK University, Gujarat offers Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) course in various specializations. The course aims to enrich the students with the principles and concepts of science in day to day life with the perspective of research and sparking the scientific spirit in them. It is a full-time regular course with a duration of three academic years. The course involves both theoretical and practical assessment of the students.

The B.Sc. Course is specialized in various subjects namely Chemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology and Physics. The curriculum of the course spans over six semesters.
The University also offers B.Sc. in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (MRIT) with a duration of 4 years inclusive of one year compulsory internship.
The minimum criteria to apply for B. Sc. course at RK University is that the candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects or any other equivalent qualification.

RK University B.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

The candidates applying for admission to the B.Sc. course at RK University must have the following educational qualification obtained from any of the recognized boards or universities:

For B.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, Microbiology – Candidate must Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or both.
For B.Sc. in Mathematics – Candidate must Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
For B.Sc. in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (MRIT) – Candidate must Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.

Age Criteria

According to RK University norms, there is no age bar for admission to the B.Sc. course.

Selection criteria:

For admission to the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) course at RK University, every candidate needs to satisfy the academic eligibility criteria and must qualify the selection criterion laid by the university.

Admission to the programme shall be made on score in Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET), a state-level entrance exam.

RK University B.Sc. Selection Process

The selection of the candidates applying for B.Sc. course in various specializations is based on the score/merit in GUJCET, a state-level entrance exam conducted by Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB).
The candidates who clear the test have to go through the counselling procedure by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), which is the central authority concerned for admissions to the University.

The mode of application to the course is Online only. The aspirants need to pay the application fees in online mode.

Register for the admission with a valid E-mail ID.
After successful registration, Login ID and password will be generated.
Login and fill the application form available on the website carefully by going through all the instructions and after checking the eligibility criteria.
The candidate needs to fill in the details of the qualifying marks, reservation, board, etc.
Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format.
Pay the application fees online through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI.
The Selection list will be released on the official website. The names of the candidates will be displayed in the merit list based on marks/rank.

RK University B.Sc. Course Details

RK University, Gujarat offers a full-time three-year B.Sc degree specialized in various subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Microbiology. The curriculum of the course is divided into 6 semesters and the syllabus covers all the facets of Science and would expose the students to every aspect of the subject - theoretical, applied, instrumental, computational and experimental and tune in with the latest advancements in sciences.
