The university offers BBA, BBA-LL.B, BJMC, BA and BA-LL.B programs in various specializations. Minimum eligibility is a pass in 10+2 from a recognized board. It also offers BA (Hons.), BBA with PG Diploma and Integrated BJMC/ BA at UG level.
Selection for BJMC/ BA (General)/ BA (Hons.) and BA (Integrated) is based on written test and interview while UGAT score is mandatory for BBA. A good score in LSAT or CLAT is required for BA-LL.B and BBA-LL.B courses.

Auro University B.Sc, B.Com & B.Des Admission 2023
Admission to B.Sc, Integrated B.Sc, B.Des, Integrated B.Des and B.Des including PG Diploma is based on marks in 10+2 in the relevant subject group. Auro University conducts an admission test for B.Des program and for B.Sc, students have to appear in a National Level Entrance followed by an interview.
For B.Des program, post entrance test, the candidates will be selected through Portfolio presentation and Personal Interview. Candidates can appear in interview in one of two ways i.e, online or at Auro University campus. The final merit order is based on giving 60% weightage to online entrance test and 40% to interview and Portfolio evaluation.

Applications at Auro University can be made in both offline and online modes. Candidates have to register for entrance exam on the respective official website. The detailed application process is as follows:
Online Mode
- Candidates need to register under the tab “Apply Online” given on the home page.
- Thereafter, the candidates can proceed to fill up the form and upload the scanned copies of required documents.
- Candidates may remit the fee of INR 2000 via online payment gateway (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking).
- There is no need to send the form to the university.
Offline Mode
- Candidates can also purchase the application form by paying the required amount in cash and submit it to the university office.

Both universities have been differentiated in terms of crowd, culture, and exposure.
Crowd and Culture: Surat, India's diamond city and textile hub, has a significant population dedicated to these two industries. It has a larger population of migrant workers. The crowd and culture of the college will be influenced by where the students of the course come from. Baroda, on the other hand, has a diverse population. As MSU has a large number of students from Baroda, the college crowd would reflect this culture as well.
Another reason for the difference in crowd size could be the type of college (University). MSU evolved from the former Baroda College, which was founded in 1881 by Maharaja of Baroda. It is one of Western India's oldest educational institutions. Because AURO University was founded in 2011, the attraction for admission would naturally be towards the former, thus the quality.
Exposure: Baroda has a large industrial belt in and around it, so exposure is excellent if you choose MSU. Surat, in comparison, has the distinction of being the largest Diamond Polishing industry, along with the Textile industry, and should have very good industrial exposure opportunities, depending on the new University's efforts to attract experts from the existing Surat industry into the college for student exposure, which AURO University will not lack in.
However, MSU Baroda is a better choice than AURO University Surat for BBA Program because, since it is a well-known, established institution if you need to pursue higher studies after BBA, then studying there would give you better opportunities abroad. Universities and Colleges outside India always check the antecedents of the alma matter, from where the student has done the basic degree, and give a better chance to the old existing University, provided everything else is the same.
