Course Description
Sri Venkateswara University is a public university which was established in 1954. Sri Venkateswara University was ranked 37 research university in 2013. It is the second oldest university in Andhra Pradesh. It holds a NAAC rating of “A” with a score of 3.13 out of 4.
Candidates can get admission to the M.Tech courses through APPGECET common entrance test conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada. APPGECET is abbreviated as “Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test”.

Sri Venkateswara University M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must possess degree in BE/B.Tech/AMIE in Chemical Engineering or AMCHE or Equivalent with 50% aggregate marks and 45% marks (for reserved category candidates) from this university or any other recognized university.
Sri Venkateswara University M.Tech Selection Process
Selection of the candidate is done on the basis of rank in the merit list of APPGECET common entrance test conducted by the university.
How to Apply?
- Candidate must have to submit the application form online by visiting the official website of AP-PGECET.
- Candidates can register themselves to the M.Tech courses by submitting the registration fee of amount Rs.600/-. (Rs. 300/- (for SC/ST category candidates).
- Candidate must have to pay the registration fee by using any of the payment modes which are AP ONLINE or through payment gateway (Debit / Credit Card and net banking).
