Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda is a renowned university that was established in the year 2007 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in the Nalgonda district of present-day Telangana. Earlier known as the Nalgonda University, the institute was renamed Mahatma Gandhi University in 2008 by the then Government of Andhra Pradesh.
