Should I join Amrita Coimbatore or GITAM Vizag? I am from Vizag.

Both GITAM and Amrita are among the top colleges. Having friends studying in both the institutes, I have gathered some ideas about them.

Amrita has comparatively a higher fee structure than GITAM. GITAM on the other hand provides much more opportunities to its students.
The faculty here is terrific as they belong from top institutes. The infrastructure is splendid and developed.
The campus has a pleasant environment and the academics are outstanding.
The placement opportunities are contenting compared to Amrita. It would be more improved by the time you reach your graduation year.

Among Hyderabad Central University (HCU) and GITAM University Vizag, it is suggested that you go for Hyderabad Central University.

Studying at Hyderabad Central University will be a much safer option, considering academics and placements.
Being a central university and entertaining politically affiliated student organizations on campus catches the attention of national media.
The faculty is much more interactive here, and are more than willing to stay back after work if guidance is required.
GITAM has better hostels than Hyderabad Central University.
HCU has much lower fees compared to GITAM.

Lastly, placements majorly depend on the individual and not on the institution. So, if you work hard no matter the institution, you will definitely secure a good placement offer from a reputed company.

KIIT is a better option in terms of fees, academics, placements, and hostel accommodation. The placement opportunities available are especially good for CSE, IT, and ETC branches. Many IT firms frequently visit KIIT placements and hire a huge number of students. During 2022 placement drive, students received an average CTC of around INR 6.05 LPA. Some of the major recruiters for the institute are Escorts, Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys, etc.

Which college is good for mechanical or ECE, GITAM in Vizag or Malla Reddy Engineering College in Hyderabad?

NIRF ranked GITAM institute for B.Tech as 101 out of 200 in India for the year 2020. On the other hand, according to The Week, Malla Reddy was ranked 151 for B.Tech in India 2020.

The faculty of ECE and ME department of GITAM and Malla Reddy is quite good as per the reviews of the students. They are well-qualified and have years of experience.

Yes, you can get a seat in GITAM University through the AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test) if you meet the eligibility criteria and score the required rank.

Here are the eligibility criteria for admission to GITAM University through AP EAMCET:

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Biology as optional subjects.
They should have scored at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
Candidates should be Indian nationals or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.
