For all the UG courses, the applicants must appear for the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT) followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
SAT passed candidates are exempted from FEAT but such candidates need to appear in GD and PI rounds.
For admission to the MBA program CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ CMAT or MAH-CET (conducted by DTE Maharashtra), qualified candidates are eligible to apply. Apply Here for FLAME University Admission

Eligibility criteria for international students

The diploma is a minimum requirement.

FLAME University Postgraduate Admission 2023

FLAME University Selection Process

Admission to the Undergraduate Degree courses will be granted on the basis of the candidate's performance in the Entrance Exam followed by GD and PI which will be conducted on the same day.

FEAT is a written examination divided into 4 sections:

Quantitative Ability
General Knowledge

The duration of the FEAT exam will be 120 minutes.

SAT qualified candidates are exempted from FEAT exam but they must appear for the Essay/PI conducted by the institute.

Results will be declared on the application portal as per the admission schedule. Selected candidates will receive a copy of the offer letter by courier as well.

How to Apply for FLAME University?

FLAME University follows a common application process for its UG and PG courses.

To begin, the candidates must first register on the official website of FLAME University.
Create the user account.
Login and fill the application form followed by preferred choices for GD and PI centers.
Upload recent passport size colored photograph and signature along with the following documents:
10th standard mark sheet
10th standard (or equivalent) passing certificate
12th standard (or equivalent) mark sheet
Copy of 12th standard (or equivalent) passing certificate
SAT scorecard (if applicable)
Copies of other necessary certificates

The candidates must submit the application along with the requisite fee.

Application Fee = INR. 1500/-

The application fee can be paid through either of the following modes:

Debit Card or Credit Card (All major cards, except American Express).
Demand Draft (DD) must be drawn in favor of "FLAME University", payable at Pune. In the application form, candidates must mention the DD details (such as the DD number, Bank, and Date). Send the DD (with one’s name, program, and application number mentioned on the backside of DD) to FLAME University’s mailing address.

FLAME University Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to students who are pursuing a program at FLAME University, provided they fulfill the following conditions at the time of application for scholarship:

Rank in the top 5% in their respective batch.
Have a minimum CGPA of 8.50.

The list of meritorious students shall be prepared on the basis of annual academic performance at the end of every academic year and the eligible students, who are not on any other scholarship, shall be considered for the scholarship award for remaining term of the program.

The university also offers merit-based scholarships to students with an excellent performance record. The scholarships are awarded for the full duration of the program.

Scholarship Criteria

The Scholarship Committee reviews the performance of the potential student.
The continuation of the scholarship depends upon students maintaining a CGPA of 7.50 or more in every semester of the program in which the student has enrolled.
The selected scholarship student shall work on campus for a minimum of 12 hours per week for the terms in which the student receives the scholarship benefit.
The scholarship amount will not be paid to the selected student (It will be deducted from the term dues directly)

Note: In case a scholarship student withdraws from the program, the student has to refund the scholarship amount that FLAME University has already disbursed.

Ques. What is the minimum attendance required?

Ans. 85% minimum attendance is required for every student failing which grade penalty/course repetition will be levied on the student.

Ques. Can a student opt for a double major?

Ans. A student can choose a double major provided s/he fulfills prerequisites like a certain minimum CGPA. Also, distinction will have to be made as a primary and secondary major while choosing a double major.

I have a friend at Flame university and his experience at the institute has been great. Here is a brief highlight of the institute.

Academics: The academics of this college is very good and the professors are quite strict about assignments and these must be submitted by the given time. Faculties are knowledgeable and the classes conducted by them are very interactive. The combinations of major-minor are high across various subjects like business, science, humanities, performing/fine arts.
Sports: The sports scenario is very good and it is mandatory for first-year students. Every week three hours of sports are compulsory for all students which occur early in the morning.
Attendance: All the students are required to maintain 85% of attendance and you may end up failing if you have a lower percentage of attendance without any valid reasons.
Hostel: There are separate hostels for boys and girls and the hostel facilities are very good and they are kept clean and organized and housekeeping is available on a daily basis.
Rules: There are some strict rules too which every student needs to follow. Nonveg is strictly prohibited inside the campus and stuffs like alcohol and cigarettes are not allowed too. And if someone is found smoking or consuming alcohol they will have to face serious consequences and may even get suspended.

Hence, Flame University can be a good choice as it provides all the modern facilities and the academic culture is nice too but there are certain strict rules like attendance which has to be followed by everyone and cannot be avoided.

One of my friends is currently pursuing his BBA degree in Communications major, thus sharing some details about the college will be easier.

The placement scenario is improving each year. The batch of 2020 received 93% placement offers among top companies. Finance and Banking Sector received the highest number of offers followed by E-Commerce and Retail.

After Ashoka, FLAME university is one of the best liberal arts universities in India. My younger sister studied here, hence let me share some things about this university. Here you'll get the diversity of subjects at the PG level that can't be found in other colleges in India.

For liberal undergraduate course, Ashoka University is a better choice. Ashoka University's course format is more flexible. Students can choose their major from a total of 21 per or interdisciplinary options. Ashoka University follows a rigorous pedagogy. The course structure will force you to become more creative.

FLAME offers more freedom in terms of artistic creativity. It’s easier to create and make art supported by the facilities offered at the campus itself.

The academic life and student life varies for the course and the particular major and minor selected by the student. You should try reaching out to the recent pass-outs from your area of interest for real opinion and avoid any confusion.

Academic life:

The curriculum is rigorous. The curriculum of BBA has helped me with my CFA exam too.
You will need to think out of the bound for research, assignments, and projects to score well (8+ CGPA).
Effective involvement in class and good scores in surprise quizzes and semester exams will add to the interest of the academics.
The liberal education taught in the first semester adds to the personality development of the student. It includes theatre, debates, sculpture, sports, dance, etc. they add skills such as communication, innovation, fitness, and stage presence.
Securing passing marks is quite easy at FLAME. If you do not complicate things with faculties, bunk classes (more than 15%), or break the rules and regulations, you will not be in the position to fail. Students need to pay quite a few bucks to retake exams.

Student Life:

The infrastructure and dorm facilities are great.
The food served in the mess is vegetarian and the quality is average. There are small food joints outside the college campus for students who want to eat Non-vegetarian.
Students can take part in various clubs such as VAJR Consulting Club, Dance Club, FLAME Investment Lab.
The institute organizes annual Inter College Fests and Intra College Fest. Students wait eagerly for such events.
Sometimes surprise inspections of the rooms are done to check if any illegal activities are going on.
The students learn to deal and stay with people from different backgrounds and enjoy their college life. You will be among brilliant peers.

The campus placements for undergraduates are not that good. However, the institute prepares the students enough to find a job on their own. The other problems that you will come across at FLAME are trivial and common for most institutions.
