University of Manchester is offering total awards of over 2.9 million GBP to international students beginning their studies in September 2023. Both undergraduate and graduate students with an offer from Manchester can avail the “Global Futures Scholarship”. Students emerging from 21 countries including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and others are eligible for this award.

The University of Manchester has arranged a webinar for PhD applicants on Thursday, February 16, 2023. The online registration process is currently open. Students will learn about the procedure to pursue postgraduate research in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Students will hear from current postgraduate researchers about PhD life, know about funding options, application process, and participate in a QNA session.

The university is fully committed to rewarding and supporting academic talents throughout the globe. Presently, it offers more than 100 merit and need-based scholarships and bursaries to incoming students.

  • Students under 25 years of age, coming from low-income families are awarded GBP 1,000 per year.
  • Meritorious students receive subject-specific scholarships worth GBP 1,000- GBP 5,000.
  • The university offers a total 1.7 million GBP in the form of scholarships to international students. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for such scholarships.
  • A total of 15 merit based awards are available worth 5,000 GBP to international students from countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Work While Studying
