• In year one students take five compulsory modules - two on Thinking Geographically and two on Geography in the Field, 
  • To remain on the International Programme student must average a mark of 60% or more at the end of their first year.
  • In year two, one or two compulsory modules are supplemented by six or seven optional modules selected from a substantial pool, including field classes. Students may begin to focus on topics such as development geography, environmental geography, urban geography, GIS and climate change. Students may take one module outside the Department.
  • Students will spend their third year abroad at an approved university. Students dissertation is the main focus of year four, working with an academic supervisor to develop an original piece of research on a topic of their choice. In addition, students take further optional modules, including one from outside Geography if they like.
  • Upon successful completion of 360 credits, students will be awarded a BSc (Hons) in Geography (International Programme).
