This program has compulsory Public Law, Contract Law, Property I, and Criminal Law courses during Year One of the program. Progression to the second year of study is contingent upon passing all first-year examinations.
In Year Two students will take four more compulsory modules: Tort, Property II, EU and Human Rights Law, and Jurisprudence & Legal Theory. As in the first year, progression to the Final Year is contingent upon passing all second-year examinations.
In the Final Year, students will choose 120 credits from a list of optional modules. One of them could be a research essay on a legal subject of their choice, subject to approval by the department. Subject to availability and approval, it may also be possible to take up to 30 credits from modules outside of Laws in place of a Laws optional module.
Upon successful completion of 360 credits, students will be awarded an LLB (Hons) in Law.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an A*AA, A-level grade.
GCSEs English Language at grade C or 5. Mathematics at grade B or 6, if not offered at A level.
Students have an IB score of 39 of which 19 points in three higher level subjects, with no score lower than 5.
All students applying for Law programs must take the Law National Aptitude Test (LNAT) before their application will be considered.
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.

Indian Students Eligibility:

Successful completion of one year of a Bachelor's Degree at an Indian university recognized by UCL, with an average grade equivalent to UK Upper Second Class.
The Year 12/Standard 12 Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE or CBSE with five subjects at 95, 95, 95, 90, and 90.

Statement of Purpose - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying.
English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE, etc.

Visa nationals and non-visa nationals whose program of study lasts for more than six months must not attempt to travel to the UK without a valid student visa.
Student can apply for a student visa to study in the UK if he/she is 16 or over.
The student should have offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor and should have enough money to support him/her and pay for his/her course - the amount will vary depending on your circumstances.
Should speak, read, write and understand English and have consent from their parents if they‘re 16 or 17 - need evidence of this when applying.

As a law student, the graduate will be encouraged to develop a critical awareness of how the law works and how it may be changed, to sharpen powers of reasoning, and to develop both the technical expertise to solve legal problems and the capacity to determine whether a solution is fair and just.
The wide range of skills and subjects learned throughout the degree opens up many opportunities when students graduate. Many UCL Law graduates move directly to further vocational study and train to become solicitors or barristers. Recent graduates have also chosen employment in government, political service, and a range of industries. Some have selected to undertake further academic study.
