Master of Science in Economics at London School of Economics and Political Science is a 10-month program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
This program is intended to equip students with the main tools of the professional economist, whether they intend to work in government, central banking, international organizations, or private sector firms such as economic consultancies.
The one-year route is for students with a strong undergraduate degree in economics and a solid quantitative background, while the two-year route is designed for students who have a sound quantitative background but lack the necessary economic theory and knowledge in quantitative techniques for the one-year route.
Students will attend an initial course known as Introductory Course in Mathematics and Statistics.
Students will take three compulsory courses, an elective course, and an extended essay linked to the elective course during the main teaching program.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have a first-class honours degree in economics or equivalent with a concentration in economics and quantitative subjects.
Successful candidates will typically have achieved very good examination results in university-level two-semester length courses in mathematics (both advanced calculus and linear algebra), econometrics and statistics, intermediate macro and microeconomics.
Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and PTE to get admission to this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

The student has graduated from senior secondary school or equivalent (those applying for a postgraduate program must have graduated from a university or college).
Students completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a grade point average of 3.00 or 60% in the final years of the program.
