The other college i was interested in was MIT Manipal, i chose ICAS over manipal because ICAS allows you for a transfer. Going abroad for higher studies was always on my list, ICAS actually made it easier because the cost is also cheaper compared to doing all 4 years abroad and you get to experaince what doing college in India feels like too. I felt like i was getting the best of both worlds, hence chose ICAS over MIT.
In the first year the course subjects are pretty similar to what the students might have learnt in their high school, in most subjects. The course i am under right now is AI/ML , for which the subjects n contents actually help you and prepares you for real world applications and further academic pursuits.
not experianced any internships as of right now. But ia m sure they are graet as they add greatly to ur portfolio. it gathers more oppurtunities for you in your future. Internships improves and expands your knowledge.
The year wise fee structure for ICAS is Rs 450000 ,i think it is pretty reasonable as the college provides multiple facilities and top tier education. ICAS is an transfer programme college in which you get to complete your engineering degree in 4 years where two years would be done in manipal (INDIA) and the next two years could be done abroad in any university of ur choice. ICAS has tie up with many of the top tier universities in the US, Australia, and most parts of Europe. So the financial part of going abroad is actually reduced by a large sum. Icas also provides scholarship for those students who have a decent gpa of above 2.6 by the end of their 2 years in Manipal.
doing your college in MAHE is actually a pretty good idea for most people. It is one of the major universities out there. You will be able to find of ur type and preferance here. the college life is really good. As there is an equal balance of studies and enjoyement here. MAHE supports sports and extra curricular activities also.
The hostel facilities are really good . they offer different configuration of room types. there are 23 hostels in campus as of right now. they are all well maintained . your chance of getting ur preferenced hostel may depend on ur cgpa in yoyr 2nd year.
Faculty members of Icas are really sweet, and more over there are always ready to help you. They also are really knowedgable in their course feild. The faculty to student ratio is also pretty decent. The exam system of icas is pretty complicated, there are going to be 3 sessionals or unit tests, from which the marks of the best two test are going to be taken into considertion as yor internal score along with 2 assignments or quizes. each Unit test is goin to be of 20 marks each. the end semester exam is of 50 marks and you need a minimum of 18 marks to pass the exam. The exam questions and the paper are set pretty easy, and the teachers are lineant while correcting.
Which i had choosen this course is good because I have choose EEE which is more important to further in future so it has demand knowfays so I had choosen EEE it is good I had Sastified with this Coirse
The campus placements are great in college, especially for my course. They offer placements in core and technical companies, such as oracle , Microsoft , Goldman sacks ,etc. they offer great packages and great opportunities aswell
I can't say exactly but there is a place for improvement, some classes are using up-to-date software and education is the latest tech, but some fields need improvement and update, overall it is good according to me. The course curriculum is good, and teachers complete the syllabus on time.
One the reasons i chose the course that is BE in Artificial intelligence and Machine learning is due to the growing demand of AI in current world. The curriculum prepares us well by providing exams and activities on time
Rating a course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness involves considering several factors: 1. **Relevance to Industry or Field**: Evaluate how well the curriculum aligns with current industry trends, technological advancements, and theoretical developments in the field. A curriculum that integrates practical applications alongside theoretical knowledge tends to be more relevant. 2. **Alignment with Learning Objectives**: Assess whether the curriculum clearly defines learning objectives and if these objectives are met through the structure and content of the courses. Clear learning outcomes help students understand what they will gain from the program. 3. **Coverage of Core Concepts**: Determine if the curriculum covers essential concepts and theories relevant to the field. A comprehensive curriculum ensures that students gain a solid foundation of knowledge necessary for future specialization or advanced study. 4. **Flexibility and Adaptability**: Consider whether
The Training and Placement department (TAP) is an integral part of VVCE connecting students of BE, MTech and MBA and also the various departments. The department has the best infrastructure for the smooth conduction of training and placement activities. The department works in close co-ordination with the Industry Relations Executives and the Department Placement Coordinators (DPC) which comprises of both students and faculty members nominated from individual departments. The department has been instrumental in providing necessary skill set to all UG and PG students to develop their employability skills, leadership qualities and personality development.
In our department also our HOD will always conduct many programs and webinars about placements, training, etc. to improve our communication skills either offline or online. I chose this course because now AI is being integrated into every field. So we can use AI and make our work easier. Our department also gives opportunities for extracurricular activities and sports. For that also we will get activity points. In our branch, by the third semester, only placement opportunities will come, and also in the first semester only we can do an internship. For that also our faculties will provide us with information.
