I did becoz this college is nearest to my home which is situated in jamtara. My JEE rank landed it into Birsa Institute of Technology , i dont want to go much far from my home. for getting admission you have to qualify jee and maintain minimum 45% marks in Intermediate (12th Exam)
Exams are prety good and easy to get passing marks, but to maintain a good score in academics you have to maintain 75% attendence criteria (which sounds bad for some guys). exams are conducted in 2 halves discussed before.
Internships like Seimes and Microsoft i opted for. I got internship from my college itself with seimens lab, friends from mining engineering department got intern from BCCL, which provide real life experiences for students.
Yes placements are there but not as much as good than Top NITs/IITs. This colleges gives you double of the money which you will invest in your 4 yr of B.Tech. Mainly 80% of students get placed with 8.5Lpa average ctc and get upto 55Lpa if you manages to crack MNCs for tech.
fees structure ranges from 2.5 lakhs to 3 lakhs, majority of the money will be used for mess if you opt for hostel. for sc/st candidates yearly fees is 1957Rs. for general category students fees is approx 7600 rupees
Birsa Institute Of Technology Sindri comprises a decent campus life and clubs with adjustable infrastructure provided by college. Clubs like HnCC conducts hackathon and competitive coding rounds which can give you finiancial rewards. Rainbow which is annual event at BIT Sindri which comprises many events.
Room is free for students but you have to pay maintainance fee and electricity bill by your own money, Heavy power equipments and cooking is prohibited in hostel room. Mess quality is adjustable but you have to force continously for maintaining quality of food, they charge 3900Rs. monthly
Proper permanent faculty are JPSC qualified and come from that JPSC board only, but some of them comes form contract. Mid Semester exams are conducted in between the semester, there are 2 mid semesters exam and one end sem at the end of semester
In 5th semester students get eligible for the placement, there are many big companies like TATA and JSW, Amazon and Deshaw visit the campus for recruitment. The highest package offered recently was 55 lpa. avg is 7 lpa. My plan is also to grab good placement.
I rate 6 out of 10 to my course curriculum. Because it is as worse as possible.If ur a ece student then u don't need to study about ed or mechanics but u have to study and burden with the subjects. Teaching level is good. Some taechers might take suprise test some are not

Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.
Since It is a top institute in india placement here is very good most of the students get placed here . Internship is also their in the college which you can avail after 2nd year depending upon you skills and your interest in core and non core. All most all the top companies of India and World came here for placement and made offers .Average package here is 18 lpa and highest package of 2023-204 sessionis 2.15 Cr . All most 90% student avail offer and those who don't get placement are mostly those who decides to go for higher studies.
This year highest placement was 13.5 lpa which was PPO . The average package was 9.5 lpa which was given to 55 student and many more. This year placement rate was 100 percent in which 114 got placed out of 120 students.
