- Sometimes during student's selection the environment in the college becomes quite heated
- Sometimes the university schedule becomes hectic
- Students fine themselves amist pressure during examination time as examination are conducted quite hurriedly
Remarks :
Cotton University is one of the most prestigious colleges of Northeast India it has his presence during the colonial era established by Henry cotton. Cotton University holds a significant place in Assam history during the Indian freedom struggle. As I did my higher secondary from cotton University itself therefore I applied only to this institution the special Institution. Also the cutoff goes very high as it is one of the most prestigious Institute of assam
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum of our universities is quite comprehensive and prepares a student for real Real world challenges. During an academic year the authority conducts two examination one mid term and one final in undergraduation course
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In Cotton University the fee structure including tuition fees, admission fees is around 5000 rupees and it is the same for all other categories except for students coming from economically weaker section avail fee waiver where they don't pay any fees
Campus Life :
Cotton University helps has many groups students portal organisations and clubs. Each ethnic community of Northeast India has a special social group in the University,several annual and technical festivals are organised by the Institution and the hostels in the campus. Also sports and extra curricular activities in the college and during versity week.
Faculty :
The university faculty members including the professors and Research Scholars are highly trained and highly educated some of them completing their academics from International institution and from prestigious Institutions of India like IITs and NITs because of which there is a high level of coordination between the students and teachers however there are some teachers who are not much willing to communicate with the students properly because of which some students fail to clear their exam lacking that students teachers relationship.

Course Curriculum Overview :
1) 10/10 for economics, it's very practical and I can relate it with real life cases 2) it's tells us the economic theories and models related to real world and helps us grasp the concept through which we can shape our understanding of the real economy and real life cases 3) I feel like proper notes should be given by the professors in a definite manner and detailed syllabus with each specific topic must be given 4) our end sem exams are conducted on December and June. The difficulty depends upon our preparation. The difficulty is moderate

Some teachers are Well trained and Experienced,well behaved and, but there are some problems were students face problem such are, Language and communication, some Teachers even says I will speak in Assamese cuz It's Assam We feel Very arogent on those Behaviour.

I choosed English honors and it influence me to do so because English is language which is used all over the world and it is very common in today's world amd the other reason to choose english is i scored the max in my 12th exams in english subjects so i want more to study about english language. The curriculum is quite neutral. Some syllabus are beneficial for future but most of the subjects are becoming burden for the students like the PAC MDC AC the new education policy has brought a lot of tension among the children
