I actually wanted to opt for Delhi University but due to my financial conditions I couldn't make it to Delhi . Also Cotton University is an autonomous University so it has its own benefits Additional to that, Cotton University has a rich legacy of more than 120 years of being glorious. Thus being a local resident of Guwahati, I opted for Cotton University and I am proud of it that I got a chance to study at this prestigious university Our 2023 batch got admission through CUET examinations . Based on the marks and registration to this university, the merit list was out. Overall admission is easy and digital so we can do it from our home too . It's not hectic and nicely arranged
1) 10/10 for economics, it's very practical and I can relate it with real life cases 2) it's tells us the economic theories and models related to real world and helps us grasp the concept through which we can shape our understanding of the real economy and real life cases 3) I feel like proper notes should be given by the professors in a definite manner and detailed syllabus with each specific topic must be given 4) our end sem exams are conducted on December and June. The difficulty depends upon our preparation. The difficulty is moderate
The yearly fees is around 4800 to 5000 INR. ( Which includes all the fees of tuitions, laboratory, ID card etc etc ) The examination form fill up is around 1100 INR But since I am from economically weaker background, my fees usually ranges from 0 to 500 INR. I also received the scholarship called ISHAN UDAY scholarship from NSP. For this scolarship to receive, one must be from low income group ( below 2lakhs per annum ) without a government job .
My overall experience in this campus has been wonderful due to its cleanliness and friendly people around me The infrastructure is good and was constructed far back . It still has been there and is maintained properly Lots of books are available in library which can be accessed with ur name and roll number Lots of extracurricular activities from gym to sports to yoga to cultural activities to debates etc.
1) The faculties are quite friendly. We can easily approach them if we want to and they are quite supportive ( in some cases it may differ ) 80 percent of the department can be approached well 2) I'm from Economics department, and our department is quite friendly and approachable in case of any issues Other than that , Education department , Mass communication department are very good departments , I like them for how well I was able to approach and ask help from them during my courses 3) there is no such department I have faced which I didn't like till now 4) generally in each semester there are two examinations i.e Mid semester of 30 marks and End semester of 70 marks There is no such definite marking scheme for 30 marks exam But for 70 marks we have 6 questions of 2 marks which is compulsory , 9 questions of 4 marks out of which we have to attempt 7, 4 question of 10 marks out of which we have to attempt 3. The difficulty of paper depends on our preparation
Very easy tho..if anyone fails to attend the test also the students don't take it seriously because here at G.C. college they add their own marks to the students test papers who are absent. The students can take mobile and use which is bad
