This college is in my natice state and pretty close to my hometown which is very convenient as a student and inconveniences arise every now and then and it is great to know that you have a home close by to go back to.
This course is as tough as it sounds and requires a lot of patience and hard work. Do not keep expectations for quick results in academics as this might end up with you getting disheartened over the less scores at first.
The college itself has intersnship in 5th year which a mediocre salary but enough to survive and be independent and start your career, you get time to study for the respective exams as well which is important.
20 lakhs for tution Around 1 lakh for hostel 36000 rs for student welfare and sports 7500 for exam fees at time of university There will other expenses from the college but those are optional such as college tour fees, research group fees etc.
There are various clubs and events throughout the year and there's even a sports fest for which the facilities are good, except for outfield sports which isn't in a great state and gets worse when it rains
Hostel is not bad apart from the mosquitos and there are 2 people per room which is convenient and acs and private bathrooms can be opted for upon special requests to the respective wardens of each hostel
There is around 1 teacher for every 8 students whicb is great, they are always available for any sort of help. They might be a bit okd school but their intentions are clear which is to help us in academics.
Mbbs curriculum was recently renewed by nmc. It is now based on skill based learning. Our college follows tha same. Curriculum is strict and bulky with a very small academic year. This is really stressful. Oru first year was over in just 9 months. This produced a lot of stress among us students.
