Placements happen in last semester of college. All students as of the current 2020 batch have a mandatory bond of 3 years to serve in ISRO organisations. From 2021 batch onwards, all companies are allowed to recruit from campus and there is no mandatory bond. companies visited include: ISRO DRDO HAL Mercedes benz Intel HP Skyroot Aerospace Garuda Aerospace etc. I plan to join DRDO as Scientist-C after completion of my degree
My college has one of the best placements in my state. In 2022, they had the most placements and many number of students got placed with good salary. My college was also one of the 7 colleges in Kerala to be selected by TCS for placement. Overall I think my college has got good placement status.
Students become eligible after 3rd year for campus selection around 10-15 companies are there in fisat for electrical departments . Out of 60 around 30 get placed every year the core companies which come are very less last year only 1 student got placed only Infocys, ibm, tata, uts global ets are companies which come to our college every year for placement The highest package over here starts from 5lakhs every year only few students get placed in core companies In EEE only 60 percentage of students get placed and rest 40 doesnt get placements they doesnt get placed due to backlogs and all. My plans after the degree are i would like to take further education in canada and all most of the people go outside the country for further education
