- Campus life is really amazing, around 1100 acres of A.M.U campus
- Traditional department buildings and amazing wonders like strechy hall, Victoria clock
Dislikes
- old traditioned curriculum, course includes subjects that are not Neccessary
- Internal politics in student union and departments
- if you're aiming for it sector jobs you won't find that coding environment but still they are trying to improve
Remarks :
I got seats in various colleges like UIET chandigarh NIT uttarakhand IIT manipur But i chose A. M. U because of its affordability location and one of the most renowned university admission in B.Tech is quiet simple You have to crack AMUEEE exam exam is of 150 questions (pcm) 1 mark each question and -0.25 for each wrong opted Around 20000 -25000 students write this exam and 500 are the total seats Eligible 65% in 12th (pcm) Or equivalent diploma One can expect his)/her entry in college if score is above 40 for an external student There are various categories in amu like child of employee , child of alumini, internal candidate which for sure get edge over other students
Course Curriculum Overview :
One of the big reason why I choose this university was it's alumini network and its fame of having one of the best education across india. As engineering was my only option so i got into civil engineering. You can't expect fancy packages but really good education, highly qualified faculties Accepting the fact that curriculum is old But the students excell in PG exams like GATE ,ESE
Placement Experience :
7th and 8th semester students are eligible for placements On campus package median is around 7lpa highest package 1.2 Cr (off campus) Mostly students go for higher studies after ug they use to give exams like gate, ese and go for further research Around 70% students get placed on campus And am preparing for gate exam

Zarf is one of the majour event of engineering college and there are other events for different colleges in university like plexus for medical college A. M. U has the Asia's largest university library which consist of large variety of books available for students Sports facilities are excellent Swimming Horse riding Skating Football Cricket Badminton Squash Tennis Hockey Gymnasium Basketball Athletics And other indoor games as well available in each hostel Smart boards are available in most of the classes ., comfortable furniture Various clubs are available like amuroboclub amusae, amuauv , film and drama club A. M. U has its own theater movies, are displayed in there on weekly basis
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels availability in the first year is quiet tough students often live in pgs out there depending on their needs pg are available of almost every category Meal quality is food enough there are both option of veg and non-veg in food At the time of counselling the student opt for hostel are alloted halls
Faculty :
The college has a decent faculty to student ratio talking about the first year there are around 100 students In each class as the students move to subsequent years the class strength is around 30 to 40 students As of my first year experience applied maths faculty was one of the best teachers i have seen. His teaching style and connections with students Talking about the exams mid semester they are a moderate level hence the students who get a good score in their mid semester exams are really at a higher rank and have a edge of security a good CGPA because the end semester exam are quit tough

In sharda University the students of semester 7 or 8 th are eligible for campus placement. The 100+ companies visits every year in our college for placement and giving opportunity to students.70% students almost gets placement

in final year of BTech the students are eligible to campus placement. there are many companies visited such as Microsoft, Wipro, l and t, HCl , petrolium, there are many companies like this. highest package last year is 53 lakh.

There is a good placement in this college. There are many companies arriving in the campuse for the placement of students. I am student of bachelor of technology ( computer science engineering) so I knew about it only the placement start from 3rd year in this college. The percentage of getting placement is 60% of the total students.

For girls companies start coming in 2nd year for internship and many scholarship opportunities are available for them For boys the companies start coming from the 3rd year. The placement stats are very good and there has been an exponential rise in the placement since recent years. In 2023-2024 the average package was around 30 lacs. Almost 10 students were placed in Google and around 30-40 students were placed in top companies like Zomato, Blinkit, Amazon, Microsoft etc.
