Firstly, I wanted to join in nit's, iiTs but failed to meet the requirements of the admission. So, Through ts eamcet, I joined this college. This college is in the top 5 (imo). I got into IT for around 8k rank.
I don't have any particular goal, I just wanted a college with a good coding culture and this college provied it. Clg will start giving you projects in the 2nd year itself by giving a mentor. This is perfect if you want only academics. The jntu exams are so easy to clear.
From 3rd year 1st sem almost everyone will be eligible for the campus placement. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Oracle enter into our clg. Highest package of 2023 batch is 1.23 cr and average is around 10.76 lakhs. Almost 95% of the students get placed.
Year fees which i will pay is 1,05,000 yearly(convenor). Management quota for cse is about 16lakhs. You will get 30k fee reimbursement for bc,ews,sc,st category. And free tution if you get below 10k rank in ts eamcet.
There are mainly 3 events in our College. One is kmit evening(march), Dandiya night(October) and patang utsav(January). So many books are available in library. Every class room has projectors. Sports encouragement is less.
There are 1 faculty to around 64 students. There will be a screening test at the starting of 1st year. Which is used to divide b/w foundation school(fds) and non- fds. Since this clg is autonomous, exams are easy and you can get good gpa. I like fds teacher coz she teaches coding so good. Curriculum is upto the point.
Placements are quite good in this college compared to any other colleges under jntuh colleges. Because of the training they provide from first year it self students after 2nd are eligible for placements or internships. Amazon, paloalto, delloite, Accenture, seimens, rarerabbit are few companies visit cmr college for recruitment. About 85% students get placed after graduation.
From the third year first semester the students become eligible for placements with high packages like 4500000 highest package and the lowest package is 700000 in our college percentage 25% of students get placement after I will go to the USA.
There are good amount of placement opportunities every year from top tech companies, where tcs has a big hand in providing great amount of bulk placement opportunities for our college including many other tech
The curriculum is well defined and structured so the students can understand the process of how the real world works. The curriculum teach the students to built real life applications. It improves the knowledge of students.
From third year onwards the students will be eligible for the campus placements the companys that will visit in the college are wipro, amzom, flip kart, tech Mahindra, Infosys and Ed vedha and no broker
