To get into colleges under jntuh to write a entrance exam names eamcet it's a 160 marks paper of mcqs to get into above average colleges we need to score a rank above 10,000 so through counselling we get a college. We can ask for as many colleges we want and seeing the cutoff we get a college. I wanted jntuh college cuz of high cutoff and bigger rank I coukdnt get into it.
This college use same curriculum for many years they change their curriculum like for evey 4-5 years. Because of the labs structure and things they teach you in that is all worth it for me to join this course. For cse department they teach almost two languages evey year and make you ready for you job interview at the end of your graduation. Just changing curriculum evey year by looking into the trends in real world might bring this college to greater heights. Timing of examination in this college is quite good we get about 3hrs before exam to revise or prepare and environment and honesty during us exams is impressive.
The internship opportunities are quite incoming and we start getting this opportunities from second year itself and sure shot in 3-2 sem. Many companies like Accenture, flip kart, delloite etc provide internship opportunities to this college. They even teach you to build you CV and resume and GD training.
Placements are quite good in this college compared to any other colleges under jntuh colleges. Because of the training they provide from first year it self students after 2nd are eligible for placements or internships. Amazon, paloalto, delloite, Accenture, seimens, rarerabbit are few companies visit cmr college for recruitment. About 85% students get placed after graduation.
The actual fee of cmr technical campus is 105000/- per year and including JNTUH fee of 20000/- to paid in first year then 10000/- later three years. You get into this college through eamcet concealing or through management quota. People (local or non local) whose caste belongs to ST, SC can get upto total fee reimbursement (govt pays for them) and other people belong to OBC can get upto 35000/- of reduction in fees. This college doesn't have any type of policy as merit cum need.
The best part of this college is festivals that this college conduct. For every three months a feat is hosted. We get a concert event that is hosted on March - April time and a annual days that is on sep month and graduation day, mun and many more. And these are all done by clubs associated in thjs college and the club system is strong and everything is run by students itself. Sorts are taken seriously in this college and sports event is conducted twice annually. It hit a central library too.
Let me just tell you that only few colleges update their college academic curriculum evey year and cmr isn't one of them, they follow the same for decades. About lecturers the ratio of teacher to student is 1:25 in this college. Faculty is good not all them because few don't show the enthusiasm to teach and few just come for nothings so everything depends on you during exams. Labs are conducted seriously and actually learn everything in that labs so it got great lab faculty. About Sem end exams the difficulty level of it is moderate and for every 10 students 5 of them fail so the correction is done by different college faculty so it a done with honesty. The course curriculum is not quite relavent but the labs are the only this relavent.
From the end of the 4year the students get placements. But we can participate in internships by good performance by 3rd year as I saw many of my seniors got internships by 3rd year. But students getting placements is a difficult thing now a days,And coming to cmr it's 60% getting placements.
From the third year first semester the students become eligible for placements with high packages like 4500000 highest package and the lowest package is 700000 in our college percentage 25% of students get placement after I will go to the USA.
i study in CS AIML My coure is very much good ???? i like it and this course is very much profitable in future to us exams are also somewhat easy to the students the curriculum is aslod also good and the facultt is also somewhat good
The course which i took is artificial intelligence from computer science engineering these is the top course right now but this needs a lot of patience and knowledge of coding and it is the usefull course for the future
Campus placements are less number of chances but there is another way by going out of the college can search jobs before searching we have improve skills to get high package if there is no skills there is ni much package
From 3rd year 2nd semister the students are eligible for campus placements.I have no idea about the company names but our seniors said that the highest package is 10lakhs and average package is around 5lakhs overall 10 percentage of students gets placements. My plan is to become software developer.
In terms of real-world applications, the curriculum did a decent job of preparing us for professional challenges. Many courses included practical components like lab work, projects, and case studies that mirrored real industry scenarios. This hands-on approach helped bridge the gap between theory and practice, making the knowledge gained more applicable in real-world situations. For those considering further academic pursuits, the curriculum was rigorous enough to provide the necessary background and skills for advanced study. However, there are a few areas for improvement. While the curriculum was comprehensive, some of the content felt a bit outdated, especially in rapidly evolving fields. Incorporating more up-to-date materials and offering electives focused on emerging technologies would enhance its relevance. Additionally, integrating more interactive teaching methods, like group discussions and problem-solving sessions, could make the learning experience even more engaging.
