Remarks :

My reason to choose this college is its legacy , this college is ranked among te top colleges in india , the infra and the facalities it provides as compared to others are unmatchable. the admission proces was not yhat much difficult. but it required patience . the journey starts with the CUET application form , once you fill the form, then the exam is conducted in the subjects you've studied in your 12th class . then the result is declared . and then you have to fill the preference lis on the website od DU. then the colleges will be alloted on the basis of your CUET score . the cutoff for my course was around 657/800 for general actegory. i scored 691 in CUET and i was from general category.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course cirriculum includes both theory as well as practical subjects. I choose this course because i was an arts student and i was interested in learnong arts subjects . all my teachers are well qualified and are masters in their respecctive fields. the exams are held in every six months and the difficulty level is very low and are easy to pass

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities in our college are above average. There are many companies which visits our college with a good stipend amount. the companies includes dell, noise, boat, relaince, etc-. Average stipend starts from 5000. thr roles offered are consultant, finance , HR , etc-. Projects like financial , sponsorships, and marketing tasks are given to the interns.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fees in our college is about 25015 for B.A Courses and varies til 30000 for science courses. Students have to pay the fees annualy at the starting of their academic year. The fees increases by about 1500-2000 every year. There are high chances of scholarships in the college as both the college and various other private companies like Relaince , dell , tata , etc provides financial aid to the deserving students. The fees reamains the same across all categories as there is no concession on the basis of students category. The scholarship amount is granted on the basis of fiinancial condition as well as on meritorious basis.

Campus Life :

the overall experience in the camus is very good . the camus provides a healthy environment for the growth of students. the annual cultural festival of our college is CONFLUENCE it is conducted in march. Books and journals are availabe in plenty amount in the library which is very well managed and is among the best among the university. Social life here is amazing, societies and clubs are well functioning .sports facalities are available in good range but it still requires some improvement.

Hostel Facilities :

My college is among the very few colleges to provide hostel. Hostel facalities here are very good , the rooms in the hostel are small with double sharing, but are still furnished with beds and study table. meal quality is average with meals being served three times. the registration process is very easy you just have to fill the online form provided by the college and the list wil be out on the merit basis.

Faculty :

The faculty in our college is highly educated and has a lot of experience as well. the teacher to student ratio is about 50:1 . The exam structure consists of two semester in one year with exams at the end of each semester. The grading system is in the form of CGPA and grades.

KNC AND THE LIFE INSIDE

Course Curriculum Overview :

As my course is SOCIOLOGY HONOURS this course needs a lot of field work which is not properly conducted by the college and i think that should be changed but still because of the professors it becomes easy to make the most out of the disciplines that you are choosing.

North Campus - Things no one talks about.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is B.A. (Hons.) Economics. The curriculum seems pretty outdated to me. I don't think it's really relevant in today's day and age but yet the basics are the same. The theories are the same. I feel more focus should be on practical training. For example sometimes the professors give meaningless assignments which has not relevance. In place of that they can provide the assignment which will have some real world implications and make a person job ready. The exams for economics are pretty hard as compared to other courses. The average cgpa is also low as compared to most of the courses. Changes in curriculum can have postive changes in the moral of a student. While selecting the course it's not clear what can we expect from the course. I feel that a student should have full idea of what the course is all about while selecting a college course because it will be with you for you whole life. The university need to update their curriculum and the maine focus should be on practicals.

Life at Kamala Nehru College of Delhi University.

Placement Experience :

Studying Philosophy at Kamala Nehru College is great for learning, but it doesn't lead to a job right after graduation. It's perfect for those who want to study further or pursue a career they're passionate about. Scope for improvement: - Help students explore career options - Provide internships for practical experience - Connect students with professionals in related fields
