My friend who graduated from this college advised me to join the college. And my fate was the same, I joined this college from the cap round. I got 91.91 Percentile in jee so I got the computer branch here. I got this college in the first cap round.
The course that I opted for is btech in computer engineering. In my opinion, looking at the future I have taken this course and learning many more things. And many more to learn. Teaching method is good.
Campus placements are average like average package in our college is 3lpa. Many companies visit college. Student are eligible for campus placements from 4th year 1 sem. 93% student are placed in our college. And that is not bad.

Campus life is going good till now. No bad aspects from the college till now. Environment is too good here and faculties are supporting and helping. College offers sports and extracurricular activities like football, cricket, chess ,judo etc.
Faculty is too better here. They gave practical knowledge more than theoretical knowledge. Don't know about the qualifications of faculty but they are way too better and supportive. 3 exams are conducted. In sem 1 Theory of 20 marks and insem 2 of practical exam and end sem of 60 marks.
Ohk so if we talk about exam period we are firstly provided with study leave before exams so that we can study in that period And if I talk about practicals they make us complete the practical project in given time
Smt. Indira Gandhi college of engineering is known to be the placement capital of Mumbai. As most of the students gets in campus placements through college. The maximum package offered by the companies is 14 lpa
The placement is average because no one tries to bring more companies to college as a reason almost the same companies come to college every year students are eligible for for placement after semester VI companies like tcs Deloitte Flipkart byjus bosch and startups visit our college The average package is around 4-6 LPA
My decision to join engineering to take this college has remained the best till now. This college really prepares us for the upcoming academic placements. The area of improvement if i say should be the cleanliness of the surrounding.
