the administration process was very smooth and they tried their best to make it as smooth as possible. The hostel allotment and management on thr other hand is very problematic they will give u hostels which u did not opt
the course is okayish, they teach DSA in C. It would be nice if they taught it in some other language but the course is still good. The course pressure is not much and it is not very difficult to keep up with the course if you are consistent
there are quite a few chances to get internships with stipends as high as 30000 per month. a cgpa atleast above 8.00 must be maintained for enrolling in the internships and placements and a lot of those internships are converted into placements
the placements are average not very good, some students secure very high packages but those are mostly off campus, only 60% of the students get placed and even most of those are very low packages which are not up to the mark
college fees is 1,92,000 tuition fees every semester and 50000 per semester for three bedded ac hostel. Mess fees is 22,500 per semester. there is a 75,000 fee for enrolling after u get the required rank.
the campus life is very good, there is a lot of greenery and events are hosted constantly. you can have a very active campus life if you join societies and stay active im them, the societies are funded by the college and thrive a lot
the faculty is really good, they are highly educated and trained. most of the faculty is local or bengali and there are not teachers all over from india but they are still highly skillful and knowledgeable.
The course curriculum is comprehensive and provides a strong foundation in both theoretical concepts and practical knowledge. It covers the core subjects required for academic and professional growth while preparing students for higher education and industry opportunities. Regular assignments, practical sessions, and semester examinations help evaluate students effectively. The examination pattern is well-structured, and the difficulty level is moderate for students who attend classes consistently. However, the curriculum could be further improved by incorporating more industry-oriented topics, practical projects, internships, and emerging technologies. Overall, the course is relevant, well-designed, and offers a good balance between academic learning and skill development

Internships also start from 3rd year or 4th year (mostly 4th). Students who do not bag a placement on campus can obviously apply off campus where referrals work wonders. A lot of renounded companies visit like Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, High Radius. Google has banned KIIT from their placement visit list. TCS makes the maximum number of offers, mostly of 10 lakhs pa. Almost 60-70% students get places, rest choose to do higher studies.
