- The mess is obviously the most disliked thing here
- The local students get preference as they speak in native language
- A lot of physical assaults happens around the campus among the goons which is very disturbing to see
Remarks :
The eligibility of btech is minimum 60% in PCM in your higher secondary in all private colleges in India . For the admission process we first have to register ourselves for the KIITEE which occurs in 3 phases and according to your scores in these examinations you can sit for the counselling round and get you allocated/choosed branch after which the kiit portal will direct you step by step with the admission process and be connected to us over email . The KIITEE paper is a moderate paper and anyone who is well prepared for their class 12 boards can score good here
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is very well structured so the pressure of regular basic self study is reduced as we have quiz , class assignments and others to keep us updated with what we are studying and also prepares us for the next sem and the topics are interrelated so helps us to cope with the challenges and we get ample time between exams to prepare and perform
Internships Opportunities :
The companies that comes here for interships are wipro , tcs , amazon , etc and they give a stipend starting from 25k to 40k also depends on the skill the company have choosed you . The project in the beginning is generally to know the working process of the corporate world and you will be given a daily target which has to be completed
Placement Experience :
The student can sit for interships from 3rd years and by the mid of 4th year companies come for on campus placement and to be honest kiit has a better annual package than maximum private college in India . The big four companies, Wipro , TCS , HDL, Amazon , etc are the prime companies coming here and recruiting almost 75% students here . The rest 25% either goes for out campus placements and fee for MBA
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Kiit incurres a resgistration fees of 75000/- which includes a high performance laptop and other stationaries . The tuition fee for CSE students is 192000 per sem whereas for electrical , civil and mechanical its 172000 . There is a laundry fees of 500/- per sem which is taken to use washing machine and the mess is 22500/- irrespective of the hostel you are chosing . Personally i choose 2 bed premium so ive to pay 70000/- per sem which sums up to my total expenditure of 5.8 lacs per year
Campus Life :
KIIT has a wide range of social activities starting with Caimera , Kirtarth and the KIIT Feast . There are various flashmobs and induction by the various clubs in kiit . The clubs are involved in dance , singing, debate , MUN , Film , Drama , fashion , photography, painting, etc . All of these makes the live here for the students very fun and interesting . The Sports facilities offered here are also very enthusiastic with a wide range of sports and all accessories and assets for the students to perform well in the field of sport and the students who perform well are also sent to national level
Hostel Facilities :
The Room has a bed , a table , a chair , a dustbin , a mattress, a bucket , a mug , a cupboard and a wooden rack . The students who opts for premium rooms will also get the facility of a attached washroom and for the rest each floor has a washroom for the non premium students . Each floor also has a washing machine and a cooler for the students. The menu changes frequently according to the students and if they appeal to change something they will be listening to that as well. The registration for hostel is done directly via mail sent by the clg and each room type are worth the money paid and if you want to rent a flat nearby there are rooms available nearby which is affordable
Faculty :
A low faculty to student ratio which allows for more personalized attention and support . Smaller class size also plays a effective role in the learning process of the students as the doubts and uncertainty are directly cleared within the class itself also allowing for deeper discussion and individual assistance. The faculty members of Kiit are well qualified and knowledgeable individuals who are professional at their work and better understanding to how to help students and understand their needs since they have a good experience in this specific field and this also increases the interaction we generally have with teachers Kiit has a very well structured relationship between the students and faculty members, so if there is any inconvenience there are our mentors,deans and hods to help us in this regard

Placement Experience :
Last year we had a placement of 75 percent overall and 100 percent placement was there for my branch overall a wide range of companies come to interview students and selects the most skilled amog them the highest package gone was something around 54lpa and avg is of 5lpa.

The course structure is average.the collage did not able to cover the whole syllabus for the semester exams . students face many problems during the semester exams due to poor syllabus cover by the college.

The fee policy was very strong for study in this University, in a semester you have to complete half of your payment from full payment. The college fees for BTech CSE 1st year 1,50,000 and examination fees 23,000. It's all about college fees and academic fees . There are regular class like 7 to 8 hour class. All types of scholarship available like , Technical and professional, e -medhabruti, prerana etc. The faculty and the staff of this University are very fair for his work very sensible for his job
