For me the admission process was very simple i feel. I applied online for the college and in a few days i got a mail for the entrance exam. The entrance exam was online when u joined in but now it's offline again. And after the entrance exam was the interview which was pretty simple i feel they asked me one basic physics question and they gave me a topic to speak on for five minutes and they asked me my marks and that was it. I even got the course i desired.
The first year course that we studied is an absolute waste of time. We study all common subjects and i feel like it's a waste most of the subjects are irrelevant. The second year syllabus that i am learning is on the topic and about the topic so that's not a problem
The yearly fee is 100000 for BTECH ECE course it will be less by 10000 if you are a Karntaka citizen. There is no exam fee as such but if you have attendance shortage you have to pay about 700rs for mid sems and if u fail end sems the repeat is 500rs per subject. If you fail your CIA's and don't get the average expected then you will have to pay 10000 to write ur CIA's next year.
We have darpan and blossoms which are like talent events which have many events in almost every aspect and anyone can participate in it. We have bhasha utsav which is our annual ethnic day function. And lastly magnovite also in which we have dj night and all. The library is very vast u can get a lot of books in it for every department. Almost whatever our teaches refer to is there so it's not problem. Sports in our campus is also amazing we have a lot of grounds and rooms for almost every sport.
The faculty are pretty good. They are all highly educated as well. We get a lot of time to interact with teachers. They always respond to our messages and we can alsoeet them in the staff room. So meeting teachers clearing doubts is not such a big issue.
After completing the course at DBIT, employability is promising due to strong industry ties and a dedicated placement cell. Graduates often receive offers from top companies in IT, engineering, and management sectors. Many also pursue higher studies or entrepreneurship, leveraging their skills effectively.
We still haven't yet entered into our course but the course is really advanced and new technologies have been added in the facilities that can be easily used and needs less user interface during testing or conducting
The course electronics and communication engineering was very good course .it is both IT and core based jobs so it is multibased course ec as bright future in next generation. So my preference is to join the ec.

Placement rates are ok in this college. Right now placement for electronics and communication is Less than computer science and also the job opportunities is also less because of the competition and since there is recession.
