My college review - an honest one ????

- The college campus is very spacious and beautiful
- The lab facilities and the infrastructure
- Very kind and supportive people in the campus
Dislikes
- The mentorship quality was not upto mark
- The faculty's expertise is okay but again not upto the mark except some faculties
- The social clubs engagement is not good enough for people there
Remarks :
I had applied for the course through KKR category and the cutoff in the year 2023 for CSE course was around 12000 and my rank was 11734. So I was eligible for the course and the seat. The application process was done in the official website of the comedk online. Even the payment was done in that.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is very efficient as it prepares us for real world applications or further academic pursuits. Also the major and the minor projects play an important role in our resume. The frequency and the timing of exams and the difficulty level are okay.
Internships Opportunities :
Cognizant,Wipro,IBM, Mera and other MNCs offer internships with stipend for the students of this college. The major and minor projects of the students play are the highlights. Each student atleast will have 6-7 projects with them by the time of their graduation
Placement Experience :
From 6 or 7th semester, the students become eligible for internships and placements. Many of the companies like Mercedes,Wipro,TCS and Infosys have visited the campus mainly for mass recruitment. The college supports both off and on campus placement interviews
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise, total expenses would range to upto 3.5 lakhs including hostel, College fees. I got the seat in this college through Comedy and total college fees was 264372.Extra 3000 was paid during the admission .The tuition fees was 244372 and other fees 20000. Accommodation fees include the room(hostel) and the mess facilities which rounded off to 98000
Campus Life :
The annual social festivals held are very less or nil. The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the Library is very helpful and useful. The sports and extracurricular activities on the campus is okay. Not many people know about it. Favourism is often used in the clubs and other co curricular activities
Hostel Facilities :
I have taken the accomodation in the hostel inside the campus. There are two types of room sharing - 2 sharing and 3 sharing. In a room, a table, a shelf, chair and a cot is provided to a student. The canteen/mess food is okay
Faculty :
The faculty here are mostly approachable except some specific faculties. The student to faculty interaction is okay and but not so effective. The faculties are all mostly degree holders but most of their teaching methods doesn't impact the students as much it should.

They try their best to get placed for each and every student.But there are some eligibility for sitting into the placement.They give training for placement and highest package offered is 46 lpa and average is around 7 to 8 lpa.

Students of 6-7th semester are eligible for the internships provided by the college. Many companies like cognizant,IBM, Mercedes, Meta have visited the college with mass recruitments. The recent highest package offered was 40 lakhs per annum

IT is very use full to choose course I feel it is better than other college in tier 2 or 3 colleges I think my course faculty are fully supportive for everyone who need to Learn new things so they really help full

Placement Experience :
•From 5th and 6th sems students are eligible for campus placement. • 84% students placed in UVCE, highest placements rate is in EEE. •The placement rate is 4% more compared to last year. •The UVCE authorities said the highest package offered is Rs 26.5 lakh per annum. A student, Subramanya, has received an offer from an America-based Cloud Security company. •In the 2023 batch, the highest package offered was Rs 53 lakh per annum. •Of the eligible 436 students, 354 students have got the offers.

Placement Experience :
At the end of 6th semester the placements are held. There are many reputed companies which visit our college since i am from mechanical branch i would like to tell you the companies that visits to our branch some of them include Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd, L and T, Tata consultancy, Mercedes and Benz, Schneider, Alstom and other many companies. Till now the Schneider company has offered the highest package to a student of our branch which is 12 LPA. The Average package is 6 LPA and the lowest would be 3 or 2 LPA which varies every year. 68% of mechanical department students have secured placements. After getting the degree I want to secure a good package and start working in that company and to grow well.
