- Nature : This is one of the most beautiful colleges in India. Tha natural beauty surrounding the campus provides a peaceful atmosphere that can enhance focus and creativity.
- Experienced Faculty : The faculty in this college comes with great experience of the industry. Mostly faculty had been coming from top institutes like IITs,NITs,BITS etc
- Entrepreneurship Cell: The colleges come with facility like TIED cell which empowers a student to be in an industry of entrepreneurship.
Dislikes
- Not connected to a megacity : The college is situated on outer sides of Solan which makes it difficult for students to live life of city.
- Improper Gender Ratio : The gender ratio is comparatively poor approx 80:20
- Sports Facility : The football ground is small in size and badminton court is also less
Remarks :
Eligibilty of Course : Student should have scored atleast 75% in 12th boards. Application form can be find out on the official website of collge (www.juit.ac.in) and can be filled online itself, and then a confirmation email will be sent to your registered email Reservation : I dont get reservation but reservation of seat and in fees is only for army personals. The frequency of exams is 5 times a semester and with my perspective the difficulty level of exams is between medium and hard. During admission we had to go to campus offline for counselling which can be done through online mode.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Specific aspects of curriculum : The curriculum is really very good in terms of relevance to the industry point of view. We are taught with the basics of programming language C in begnining and then we are taught with DSA , C++,Python,Java. The Curicullum we are taught with i believe that it is very difficult to make a real world applications in Java or Python but yes if we take help from Online Institues and videos it will difinately work and we can make any real world application compare to other colleges . Area for improvements in the Course Curriculum can be like that - College can mainly focus on the needed courses for the industry placement and should remove the other subjects like IT worklab and other some subjects and also the teachers should teach students on board unless just reading out presentations and ending up there leactures. The exam frequency is quite high in our college like 3 times term examinations and 2 times practical examinatioin with medium difficulty i 1 sem
Placement Experience :
From 6th semester students try for internship and try to get PPO and from 7th semester they are open for on and off campus placements. The companies usually visit to campus are like : Amazon,Infosys,Tartan,etc and they make offers between 9 -20 LPA and they offers not a huge amount of students but they take 10-20 students which is a good number because the strength of a year is atmsot 400 and eligible for that jobs are rougly 250-280. Highest Package is offered by Amazon(on-campus) which is 40LPA but the student refusues the amount so it was not given. Percentage of students is 70-80%; My plans after getting a degree is to get a placement and then do a masters degree.

Campus Life :
The annnual fest which most popular among us is LeFiestus which is 3 days long including big superstars as guest which usually happens in April or May. Along side this there are varoius social and technical fest which usually occurs in university but in my POV fest are less than other colleges. There are lot of books and novels in library so that is not a big deal. Sports tournaments are organised in campus like sem tournament and parakram(inter colleges tournament). Student run social clubs are many like leo club etc which is very joying to join them.
Hostel Facilities :
We have a beautiful hostel with beautiful views of shivalik range from our windows or balconies. In our room we have a table, a cupboard,a bookshelf,a rack,a matress. The hostel is very good I can say it is one of good meal like in some very high private colleges. Registration for hostel is done along side of admission process and I can say that hostel is little expensive but it is good to live in hostel in these mountains rather than living in PG or private room. No i have not rented room so I can't say anything about this but my friends say it is little bit far from college to come so this is a con
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio - 1:40 the ratio is quite decent and students can approach the faculty members for clarifying the doubts regarding to the subjects and studies. Faculty credentials- mostly facutly are graduated from premier institues like IITs,NITs,BITS which do have wide amount of knowledge but some are not able to give it to students. Even though each student has a mentor to him. Teacher interaction : I don't ofently interact with teachers but when i interact with teachers they happily solve the problem which i am solving
Interview Experience :
Basically I dont face a interview during the admission because due to my 12th result I had directly got admssion in the college and moreover the college dont conduct an interview to take admission. It is totally depend on the merit If you pass the merit for that particular course and you came on time before the seats are over you would get the admission in the college.

Students can apply for placement as they have prepared ourselves for industry ready. As usual students go for placement after third year. And they easily get placed. Because there are 300+ that visit chitkara University every year.

Placement Experience :
From around 6th semester we are eligible for the campus placement. Mainly companies like Infosys,TCS or some startup visit the college. The highest package last year was 22.5 LPA and the average package is around 4-5 LPA . Around 50-60 percent gets the intership in the company but around 20 -30 percent gets the placement in 6th semester. But after degree completion around 40-50 percent gets campus placement . If I didn't get any placement for around 8-10 LPA . I will go for higher studies.

First' of all the reason of joining this course is like in today's world IT is becoming very important they each and every thing is based on it that's the reason of joining this sector Area's which need improvement is IT lab because in some of the computer the button are break which need to be improved.

1- Hm i guess after 4 semester you may got the opportunity to shit in placement. 2 - Companies like google, royal Enfield, Microsoft and many other companies came 3 - Highest package may be 25,26 lakhs or average near 4,5 lakh here got. 4- CGPA must be required of 6 or more than 6 for placement . 5- My plan after getting degree is to get job and make my parents to take rest so in can work and they can rest.

From 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements Their are many companies visited the campus you can find it on juit website but some of the top recruiters are Amazon, Infosys,fantaclaus etc No of offers made was 494 Highest package was 50 lakh by Microsoft and avarage package is 6.5 lpa

After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements and internship opportunities. They can also apply off campus for placements if they are not interested or satisfied with the college placements. Students can also prepare for exams like GATE, UGC NET etc. as there is lot of free time for students. They can also work on there startup ideas. Almost 80 percent students get placed in my branch from campus placements with an average of 9 lpa. My plan is to pursue higher studies after the degree as i am interested in the subject.
