- As the NIT HAMIRPUR is located in Himachal predesh having a beutiful views and nature and having a beautiful campus
- NIT HAMIRPUR placement are decents not too bad placement
Dislikes
- In Hostel you faced some problem like water sortage and their hostel room are 4 seater and 3 seater only
Remarks :
for getting this course you must have to give JEE exam and ig you having all india rank under 50k then you will sure to get this course easily , for admission you have to apply for JOSSA /CSAB councelling their are also resevation for the student having sc , st,obc , ews i don't thinks any improvement should be needed in this admission process
Course Curriculum Overview :
specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course beacause i want to go for higher study and also looking for government job oppertunities . IN CIVIL ENGINEERING what we study we can see in nature and understand the concept easily their two exam mainly one is mid semester of 30 marks and another is end semester of 50 marks and the level of exam are medium to tough
Internships Opportunities :
nit hamirpur organized internship every year so you should apply through their respective site,they give notice regarding internship to their college website,we can apply within a given period of time project like GIS application in construction, fight weight prefab construction , design of structure in STAAD-PRO etc
Placement Experience :
From 6 th semester student are become eligible fir the campus placement ,their are many company visited to college like dell etc highest package in this course vary each years ,for this previous yrs highest package in core is 12 lpa, and average package is 7-8 lpa 60-70 percent student are getting placed in this course
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
for general student they have to pay approx 80k per semester for tution fee ,in which 20k is compulsory for the admistrative fee for the development , for scholarship student can apply through NSP portal their are many scholarship program for the student
Campus Life :
the annual fest name is hill's fair and techical fest name is nimbus ,annual fest is held on the end months of october and techincal fest is held in the months of march , books are available in the library you can go and issused the books thats you want sports and extracurricular activities also going on in the campus like INTER BRANCH ,INTER YEAR sports are going on
Faculty :
As their are 65 student in class and if student having any doubt they can go to the student to the faculty office and clear their doubt , the faculty are well knowledgable teaching process are also good and student can interacts with the faculty without any fear

Placement are good for cse and ece as cse average was 16 lpa and ece was 10 lpa but for branches like civil or material science and engineering physics its not good ,they face very much challenge to get placed

Placement Experience :
After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements and internship opportunities. They can also apply off campus for placements if they are not interested or satisfied with the college placements. Students can also prepare for exams like GATE, UGC NET etc. as there is lot of free time for students. They can also work on there startup ideas. Almost 80 percent students get placed in my branch from campus placements with an average of 9 lpa. My plan is to pursue higher studies after the degree as i am interested in the subject.
