The eligibility for CSE BTECH is 75% aggregate in PCM boards . The selection is done by MHTCET, PERACET and JEE score. Student need to score more than 75 percent to get admission in MIT . The application form is available on there website.
MIT follows NEP since 2023 .The level of difficulty of exams is moderate . The are 2 Periodic test which is for 20 marks and one end sem examination which is for 50 marks . There are practical exams after theory exam.
The year wise fees is 3 lakh approximately .There are various scholarships available for SC,ST students. The fees depends on branch and the courses usually CSE has the highest fees. Every year usually fees increases by twenty percent.
The campus life is great. It is huge green luscious around 120 acres.The club involvement is good. We have sports around as well a football,badminton, volleyball and basketball ground.There are different libraries for different colleges.
Faculty is great. They will try to help you in every way possible and will personally help and guide you if student needs.There is a mentor assigned for 30 students in a class .Teaching is also great all the concepts are cleared.
From 3rd year our internships get started And from 3rd we get eligible for the placements Companies come for the placements for starting till the end of the semester For 4th year most of the students get placements
Campus placements are average like average package in our college is 3lpa. Many companies visit college. Student are eligible for campus placements from 4th year 1 sem. 93% student are placed in our college. And that is not bad.
Companies start coming in early of 7th semester i.e 4th year of the course. Companies visited like Western union, BNY Mellon,H.P, Amdocs,FIS, Vodafone, Capgemini, etc. In 2023-24, the highest package was of 22lpa of Western union, 10-8lpa by BNY Mellon,FIS, Western union. There are Mentors for T&P which helps students to prepare for their placements. Also encouraging them for Entrepreneurship.
The placements here at IIT Bombay are very very good. If a student has really done good or just put some efforts on skill development, he definitely gets placed and in a very good amount. A large number of companies visit for placements like Tata, L&T, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Uber, SONY, Samsung, Mahindra, Reliance, Qualcomm, Bajaj, Jaguar, Loreal, JSW, Hitachi, Mercedes, Havells,P&G, ITC, HUL, ONGC, HP, BYJUS, etc. This year around 1753 offers were made, out of which 1438 were accepted by the students in phase-1. All the information is available on IITB website. The highest package was around INR 4.23 CPA (in quant sector) and an average package of around INR 21.26 LPA. Around 82.1% of students were placed this year. Some students didn't sit for placements because they want to study further in foreign universities, or doing MBA further, or UPSC, etc.
From 6 semester we are eligible to apply for internships then only college placements will start and we have specially programs for placements so there are no lack of placements and there many students who are getting placed so they are at their best
As there is much scope for entc branch in last 3 years so we choose it as our carrier.and our college prepare us for all the exams and real World competation.teaching method is all good.timing of exam is perfect as my perspective on their difficulty level.
There is not much placements in campus nor the top companies visit ther to get placements most of the students have to apply offline but teachers there support us even after we pass out from the college
Curriculum of the university is good. Practical knowledge is also very much. Curriculum is based on real world applications. Frequency of the term exam is in every six months. Teachings qualities is also good
